Scottish Inn

Last minute. Location is ok. No breakfast at all, even coffee. Hotel is really old. The only good thing is new floors. Parking is free. Walls and tiles are cracked. Beds and pillows are ok. Plumbing is falling apart. Everything is very basic.

Stay was great, the maid service was AMAZING. She went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. Will definitely tell everyone about our stay. Will be coming back!

It was nice, in a decent part of town. And the owner was nice enough to let us leave or car there after we checked out for a couple of hours.

Everything was great. The proprietor is doing so much in upgrading and renovating The Inn. As always my wife and I had a wonderful stay.

The location is great but the facility is run down and dirty, with a heavy smell of smoke everywhere. The room was dirty, and the bathroom was dirty and mold. There was hair from previous tennants everywhere, even in the fridge and shower. We love rustic inns and bead and original bed & breakfasts and really wanted to love this, but the rundown stage and unsanitary conditions were extremely disappointing. One can't even touch the handrails to get down the stairs without having to wash the dark stains off your hands. Even the fire extinguisher was merely a hole in the wall with cables. Unfortunately, the service of the gentleman at the reception does not make it any better, it is up to the guest to break the ice with him.

The staff was very nice, the best part was the 10 min walk to the fort and historic village.

The bed was comfortable but that was about it. The picture is not accurate. the room was extremely dated. There were stains on the wall by the bed, the room had no phone. no closet door there was one outlet by the bed, the other was so far away it is not useable unless you had a 10 foot cord. no alarm clock. the toilet constantly ran the time we were there.they advertised wifi but it didn't work because it wasn't installed. The ice maker didnt work. Overall it wasnt worth the price they chare.

The good thing is that I returned from that place. Hopefully without any infection, fungus or anything of that nature. The place is simply gross. Mold in that thing that used to be a bathtub is everywhere. Toilet sit is all in deep black scratches from I don't know what. The window in bathroom was broken. I spelt in my close on without getting under the sheet, so I don't know what was there. There are 'no smoking' signs everywhere but in my room the tobacco smell was very strong. You pay for what you get. It is not far away from historical district but I would consider sleeping in the car before getting a room there. There is spoon much room for improvement....

I didn’t like the area and I thought the price didn’t match up with the quality of the room meaning I thought it was an over charge period
