Hotel Royal Palace

Good old downtown location. Lots to do, see and eat!

El hotel esta muy bien ubicado pero el lobby tiene un olor raro, y la persona que cuida la puerta despues de las 10 de la noche no es muy amable . tampoco me gustó que laa visitas no pueden subir a la habitación.

Nice old zone of the city. Lot’s of choices for food. The street is a walkway and busy at times.

I Liked the service and staff, the location is Awesome. I disliked: not all rooms have A/C they charge more if you Want A/C The beds are not Confortable to my standards, and they move easly, Guatemala has a thing against A/C everywhere you go (except For a couple of Malls) you won't find a descent Ventilation system that is probably why this Hotel charges extra For A/C ...Yes A/C is a must to me.

Was good nicely and clean place

Had to pay extra to change rooms do to a lot of road noise because the windows would not close proberly .

NO A/C would have been tough in hot weather. Good for us it was on the cool side. It's a classic old downtown hotel that has tried to keep up.

Location, bar. Excellent service and food, American breaks fast delicious

The free shuttle service from the airport was comforting, and well welcomed. However, apparently the the driver has Saturday’s off though and we were not made aware of this until the Friday before we left. The rooms were clean, and well maintained.. the location was great for walking. Very safe. A free continental breakfast was a pleasant start to each day. My only complaint was excessive road noise from the non pedestrian side of the hotel as cars honk their horns driving through the intersection.. everyone honks their horn. By the third night I was adjusted to this though and it barely bothered me. I would recommend requesting rooms away from this side of the hotel.

The hotel is located right in front of the pedestrian street.
