Great place to stay. Incredibly comfortable.

Everything was great really. The bed sank in a little deep on one side causing some discomfort. Aside from that there were no problems.

Wonderful decor. Nice location. Excellent COVID friendly policies on check in and grab and go breakfast.

We have been coming here every year for the past 3 years and we love staying at the Gilded! Everything from the unique room designs, to the breakfast (oh the breakfast, it is incredibly light, healthy and delicious) to the convenience of the location we love everything about this property. It's perfect for a romantic weekend getaway!

Very nice place, awesome location, private and quite enough and close to practically every place of interest in this town. Hotel parking is also a big deal , since not every hotel in town includes parking. I did book the cheapest room with one double bed .. and did not realize that the room was kind of small. I suggest to check the rooms on hotel website and then book on any platform since hotel.com did not give the accurate impression of the room size. Definitely recommend this hotel.

I came on a Sunday and they told me they were cleaning and would text me when the room was ready. That was the first of many friendly and welcome texts. They made sure we were happy and our expectations were met. The place itself is lovely. We will definitely be going back to Newport and will definitely be staying at the Gilded when we go. Breakfast was bagged and individually packed for COVID reasons and we loved it al.

Great stay! Small hotel with great decor and friendly staff. More of a BNB than a hotel...

Personal background: I have traveled for business and personal pleasure. About 4-5 trips per year some with multi week stays. Details: although multiple inconveniences can be attributed to Covid there is no excuse for charging for breakfast and not serving it. We left a note to hotel stuff since no one even showed up for work at 8:15. Bathroom was tiny. The saggy bed mattress completes

The hotel was a great place to spend a couple of days away. Great location the staff was great and couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The only downside was that the shower in our room was a bit small but overall a great place to stay!
