Coast River Inn by OYO Seaside

Clean, noisy, cute room. A few blocks from beach and downtown but walkable. Good value. Had a nice porch.

The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable-even the pillows! However, the shower left a lot to be desired! We were unable to adjust the shower head and it blasted me in the face....I'm only 5.1 and didn't enjoy the experience.

Great room at a good price

Cute motel,very clean and lots of space for a hotel room. The heater was weird and you couldn't set a temp for the room so it was either too hot or too cold. The lady in the office could of given us a map or something so we wouldn't have had to search for our room.

Not enough outlets by the bed but great staff!

I loved the room but there are not enough outlets by the bed. The bed was not very comfortable for me and I had to get up and stretch my back during the night because it was so stiff. Otherwise, it was just right.

Don't stay here

Rooms was just okay, dark and cold. I requested to have a room with carpet abd was told i couldnt change rooms because they were booked. Rude front desk staff. I don't like that they charge you at check in and not at check out. Place needs a update. Old furniture broken hangers. Overall bad experience won't stay there again.

The room was big and clean. We had a nice view of the river; however, there was a lot of trash between the river and the hotel. This can be easily remediated and it would make the place even nicer.

Book with caution if your planning to relax.

Being a repeat guest at this property my expectations were pretty high. The rooms are always clean. The property is well maintained. Our first night was wonderful, we had no complaints. The 2nd day/night was filled with a guest above us stomping, pounding, running, and banging for hours and hours. Finally at about 3pm we asked the front desk to address the loud and noisy guest. At 7pm we asked again. Just after 9pm we asked the front desk to either move our rooms or have the noisy guest leave. The noises continued through the night until 3 am and began again promptly at 7am. I got very little sleep. - The clanging and running refrigerator wasn't even an issue because the upstairs guest was so loud and disrespectful. When I asked for a partial refund the property manager gave me excuse of how they can't control their guests, and that the hotel was booked full with no vacancies. You wouldn't tell every room was full because the parking lot was empty and the other guest were so quiet and calm.

Cute but beds could use replacement

I thought the room was great but the beds were not good for my back. I think they’re just getting old and need replaced. The stovetop concerned me when it turned on as I was setting down groceries on top of it. Luckily I didn’t start a fire!
