They made a special effort to send an English speaking staff member to ensure everything was going well, since my Spanish could use improvement. Certainly this is the bloody third world. As the Pretenders sang about. But isn’t that why I’m here? Would recommend. Duane

It's no a hotel. Its more a motel. Its really old. Not well conservation. I will never stay there anymore. Staff rude.

Basic hotel in Central Asuncion

For a brief stay in Asuncion this hotel does the job. It's very simple but comfortable and the staff are very accommodating. It's in the centro, which can be far from other important parts of Asuncion, but is close to bars and restaurants to keep you entertained. There is parking available if needed, be sure to advise the staff because the spaces are limited.

The worst hotel experience ever

Awful hotel. I wasn't expecting much, but this was the worst place I've EVER stayed at. Disgusting rooms - holes in the walls, mold in the bathroom, dirty, paint peeled off everywhere, noisy AC, and worst of all - impossible to sleep due to the noise coming in from the street (lousy windows and no insulation). Horrible breakfast too. Staff friendly enough. Avoid this place at all cost.

clean and cheap with nice staff

forgot to mention that can be noisy due to nearby traffic and free breakfast not that good but there is good coffee and toast and cereal. No eggs. at 3 am there is a car with loud speaker selling things. weird

Good location. Access to downtown Asuncion

I picked this hotel because of the location to downtown Asuncion. Also the building is an old style dating back to the beginning of the last century which I think its really picturesque. Overall its an Ok hotel if your looking to stay for a night or two near downtown. The area its not the best, as its close to the port and old part of town. Safe area to work, some nightclubs in the area around. Half a block you have taxis available 24hs. Breakfast is ok..but could be better. If your looking for a complete free breakfast then do not stay here, as its not the best. No pool, but has a nice rooftop where you can go and relax and breath the air at night. Internet is not very good if you stay in some rooms. Front desk is very helpful and always happy to assist you.

Nice old rustic building in center of old city

Clean, spacious and walking distance to major attraction. At the corner of streets Estrella and Colon. Staff pleasant and helpful. 20 dollars each way to and from the airport. Cabs take US dollars. Had a good sleep. Nice private balcony. Cheap but good.
