Candlewood Suites : Overland Park - W 135th St

Nice property. Nice location. Like having sports bar and coffee joints nearby.

Only complaint was housekeeping staff not wearing masks as they cleaned rooms, brought carts down hallway. They were pleasant, chatting between themselves but masks supposed to be mandatory during COVID. Signs posted all over. Assume rest of stated COVID prevention practices by staff also not followed. Disappointing.

Hotel is nice. Service was not so friendly. Out of products in shower.

The stay was great, I asked for an upper floor and we came by about 1:30 and was told our room was not done and she just assigned us a room on the first floor. I would have been willing to wait had we been given the chance. The clerk made sure other patrons were wearing their masks in common areas, which was reassuring to us. Upon entering our room, we disinfected all the surfaces due to Covid-19 and noticed part of a food wrapper on the floor of the bedroom. That indicated the room had not been cleaned very well, nor had been inspected.

Front desk agents were not friendly or helpful, mattress was uncomfortable, room was noisy, AC was loud and room never cooled down, double billed for pet. Other issues, but the take away is that we were not happy and wouldn’t recommend.

Lovely stay in a newer ihg property. Excellent service and the staff could not have been more considerate

It was a great deal in a good area of KC. There are a number of great little eateries in walking distance.

Great location with easy access to restaurants. You can even walk to some of them and the units are clean and spacious.

Hotel and personal were terrific. Unable to book my room with Orbitz for correct date.

It was clean and fresh smelling. I like the full kitchen and wall mounted iquid bath soaps were nice touch. Staff was very accomodating. The area is quiet being off and away from roads and nearby restaurants are great. There's everything you need within easy drive. Going back next weekend !
