The limited number of villas. Always some space available around the pool. The villas themselves were unique in design.

Lovely staff who were really helpful in booking a taxi, driver for the day or transit to and from the resort. The restaurant prepared great food for a more than reasonable price. The girl at reception was delightful! Highly recommend!

The location close to crystal bay, and staff is very helpful A plus. Basic amenities such as toilet and showers are sufficient for westerners due to being on an island. Please keep Nusa Penida clean, so we all can continue enjoy this beautiful place.

Three star resort with five starred staff

Great service, nice pool area and information about the island. Very sound sensitive and in the condition of a three star resort at the most. Straff brings up the review significantly. There are a few restaurant within walking distance but it’s located quite remotely. However, the restaurant on the property is okay, the Balinese cuisine is terrific.

Beautiful location and very friendly helpful staff. It is off beaten track so expect a more rural soundtrack. Be nice if they had fresh coconut there given they are called Coco ;)

Quiet and beautiful resort on Nusa Penida

Coco resort is about a 20 minute taxi ride from the harbor. Once you arrive you're greeted by an open air reception area and roughly a dozen huts surrounding the hotel pool. Coco is quiet, clean, and the individual huts make you feel like you're camping in style. Breakfast is okay, but is a nice convenience at the local rate so I'd recommend adding that on. Take advantage of the full day tours around the island, spa services, and scooter rental if you feel adventurous. The staff speak English well and they're always working to make your stay enjoyable. Coco felt secluded since there isn't much close by, but that's exactly the kind of vibe we were looking for. Crystal bay is your closest beach/site as it's only a 10 minute drive away. All other main attractions are going to take over 30 minutes to get to. I would highly recommend staying at Coco resort.

We actually planned to stay here 4 nights, however as soon as after entering the room, we noticed weird smell in the room and it took almost 4 hours to even have the room reached at 25C, which was still very inconvenient for me and my wife. There were lizards running around all over the place and making weird sounds during the night time. The only good thing about this was a nice breakfast in the morning, that is pretty much all. It is definitely not worth 65 US dollars a night type of hotel. If I could, I would not pay more than 20 bucks.
