Luskin is a great Place to stay

The Luskin was absolutely incredible.. The woman at the desk on Wednesday when I checked in was friendly, accomodatatiing and helpful.. The folks at the bat were friendly and welcoming..The sister who was at the valet was welcoming and friendly, they made me feel at home.. I'm giving you guys 10 stars

The college environment is great for family mini breaks for spring break. It’s half hour driving distance to Universal Studio.

Event visit

The hotel was lovely. There were some minor wear and tear spots (frayed bedding skirt) that did not affect functionality. Room was clean and comfortable. Room cleaning service was exceptionally good. The restaurant served delicious food. They had some staffing issues so they unexpectedly closed the bar for anything but beer and wine. We were at a "cocktail" event when this happened. Staff throughout the hotel worked hard and were very courteous and professional.

Great hotel staff and facility. Restaurant (not run by hotel) extremely understaffed. Make a reservation for every meal if you want to eat there.

Great hotel, great location. Expensive parking!

Great hotel in a fantastic LA location. After a busy day sightseeing, it was a joy coming back to such a lovely, clean hotel (and in a super safe area). We had free breakfast as part of our deal which, if you can get it, I would highly recommend. To be able to eat delicious food on the outdoor terrace every morning was a great way to start the day (and helped save on money). The one negative is the price charged for on-site parking. Yes, I know it's LA and it is a "thing" there but, coming from Europe, I find it extraordinary that hotel *guests* are charged $32 per night to park. It should be free, in my view, given that the room rates are not exactly on the 'budget' end. That being said, I would not hesitate to stay here again and/or recommend this place. Staff, service, surrounding area and overall "feel" of the hotel were first rate. A real gem.

The staff members in the hotel were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to receive housekeeping during our two-night stay after two years of Covid rules with no frills. My only complaint was the restaurant. We had dinner there and the food was terrible. The dining room was cold and the hostess service was poor. The hostess service was worse at breakfast, Our booking included a free breakfast, available from 7-10 am but when we arrived, we were told we needed a reservation-even though the restaurant was half empty. But I would definitely stay there again.
