Inglewood House and Spa

Inglewood House is a fantastic house to stay in, unfortunately the internet was shockingly bad and so was the phone signal. At one stage trying to work with no internet and poor phone signal I had to grab my laptop and setup a temporary office down on the front lawn. Would I stay here again, for business not a hope in hell. But for pleasure certainly, it’s a very relaxing especially with the Spa

Property was beautiful throughout. The only thing that spoiled it were some cheap looking faux flowers dotted around the place and in the room there were some cheap looking pictures on the wall that took away from overall aesthetics. Breakfast was great on the first morning, however, poor quality the next (bacon very pale, potato scone on both mornings was solid and would require a steak knife to make any kind of impact). Staff appeared busy and uninterested on first morning, this may have been due to wedding. Hrebal teas available in the room, which was a pleasant surprise. Bed comfortable and room amenties good. However, toilet roll holder is about to fall off in bathroom and at an angle, so toilet roll kept slipping off. Being pregnant, I was unable to twist and reach back to retrieve this which was a pain. Spa was lovely, well presented. Staff were friendly. However, there were a couple of issues- one being that a wedding was taking place so our massage was 30 minutes and due to the ceremony we were unable to leave our room which made us late for dinner. I booked a pregnancy massage and there had been some sort of mix up where most of the staff members were not trained to do this. Luckily there was another staff member on shift that was able to do this and massage was very pleasant. Location was good for driving to main attractions and walks nearby. Grounds were beautiful, lots of birds, grey squirrels and ducks. Overall positive experience but not blown away

We had a great stay in fact prob the best stay at any hotel for a while - the main thing for us was it was so quiet at night proper sleep 😂 everyone was lovely & friendly. We understood all their rules for dealing with covid we stayed 4 nights - we did our own thing was just great X

We stayed in the Billiard Suite which was beautiful, spacious and spotless. The breakfast spread delivered to our room was fantastic.

Clean and tidy friendly staff food was excellent scenery is beautiful

Quirky property. Good facilities. Cosy. Food was good but not the biggest portions. The starter of duck parfait would not have filled up a small field mouse :-)

Beautiful building and room,most of the staff really nice and helpfull,with exception of the gentleman at the checkout a bit cold and unfriendly, couple of niggles with room bathroom sink very slow in draining,tv reception on itn progams very poor at times and loo paper quality oh dear!!
