Kids club great, loved it. Place a little dated, pool cold which was disappointing. Staff fine but not overly helpful. Great place facility wise for families.

what I booked

Not what I booked . I booked a junior suite but was put in a standard room in holiday village . Junior suites are in the Polynesian hotel . Not allowed to change , not allowed to upgrade even if I paid more , what I got was a allocation on arrival holiday in holiday world this was made very clear by the staff in holiday village !, The costs also match the Polynesian hotel not the cheaper holiday village !! Completely unable to contact Hotels.com got a customer service email address which was a waste of time as it’s not monitored. Holiday village was a decent enough hotel clean , reasonable food and drink , decent room but I was expecting sun beds on the patio and good views and got four chairs and a view of the local train line ! I use Hotels.com regularly but very disappointed with this arrangement.

We stayed at the Hotel Riwo, one of the four hotels in this complex. If purchasing the roulette deal this is most likely where you would end up. On the plus side, this is a smaller hotel and we liked this as we had a 5 and 2 year old, pools were not overly busy, the evening entertainment was more intimate but you could take a stroll to other hotels to use the facilities like bowling in the polynesia. However, this hotel is placed a good walk up a very steep hill.l, the hotel provides a bus between 10am and 6pm but its a tiring trek if you need to do it with 2 kids. Beac club which is included is great for kids, would be better for older kids and teenagers with lots of water slides deeper pools. The food at Riwo was good. Good selection of foods each day and evening but have to agree with other reviews, can get a little repetitive. Drinks were very good, free slushies for kids and adults had a good selection of premium alcohols like smirnoff, bacardi, gordons, beefeater and loads more all included. All in all a good holiday especially as we got it at a reduced price around January and paid a little over half the normal nightly rate. I would recommend a visit.

DO NOT STAY IN RIWO - other hotels seem nicer

The hotel is run down , DONT NOT STAY IN RIWO the others seem a lot nicer , food terrible staff really really rude !!

It literally catered for everything! The food was brilliant plenty of variety for all the family and great kids only counter. Arcade, trampolines, go cars (additional cost) small play area with slide, kids entertainment and shop on site. All the staff were lovely and couldnt do enough except for 1 guy in the beach club bar..we put it down to him having a bad day though! The water park was excellent we stayed around the jungle which only had water upto my toddlers waste so very safe and enjoyable. Plenty of life guards on duty and toilets and whole area was cleaned regularly. All in all an excellent stay. One small point for possible change, allow express check in when rooms are not ready. We waited almost an hour to check in but the room wasnt ready so we had to go off again and come back for the key. We werent too bothered but might have been better to maybe get someone to go around with clip board checking names then letting them know room wasnt ready get the paper work filled out and thrn bring groups back in 15 minute slots to complete checkin and get info on hotel from receptionist therefore no huge long ques. All inclusive worth it with kids!!!

Fantastic holoday. Great entertainment for the kids. Clean. Lots of different activities for the kids. Childtren friendly swimming pools. Good food. Would definitely visit again.
