Aquarius Hotel & Urban Resort Phnom Penh

Room spacious and in good condition. Bathroom not cleaned properly with lots of someone’s hair in the shower. No towels and had to ask twice to get them. After cleaning the room the next day the towels were not replenished again. Shower gel was empty in the bathroom. Great swimming pool and rooftop area. Breakfast was ok. All staff very helpful and friendly. Good location.

A last minute addition to our holiday due to closing of water borders! But what a great hotel! Modern, chic, with an amazing rooftop infinity pool which has a large window in it! Wow! Funky loungers/beds that jut out into the pool. A great selection of cocktails available at the rooftop bar! Breakfast is served in the rooftop bar. What a way to start your day. A great view over the city. Plenty in the buffet, plus a choice of 3 cooked to order breakfasts! Comfy rooms with exposed polished concrete and metal & wood open shelving! Need was comfortable with fresh linen and soft towels. The free toiletries were good too. A good location 5 minutes from the grand palace and an easy tuk-tuk ride from everything else! Very attentive staff, that even have aromatic oil burners going in your room. A great base for Phnom Penh.

Great pool area and food was nice. Big rooms and clean

We loved our stay here at Aquarius. It’s in a great location - quick walk to the river, markets, businesses and restaurants. Around the corner/a block from the US and Singapore Embassies. Service is fabulous and the staff is so helpful. Helped us get to our bus station, brought plates/bowls to our room for our Grab Take Out. The restaurant is quite good for any of your meals and I recommend at least one there at night or a drink to enjoy the amazing rooftop bar, pool, and pool table. Such a great atmosphere. The breakfast in the morning is an even mix of Asian and Western. Us Americans had no problems finding a few comforts from home or dipping into the culture more. We were on our way to Vietnam, got turned away at the border due to the COVID virus and just how quickly policies change *sigh* - it was unfortunate. Rather than looking for another place, we WANTED to stay at our hotel again and were upgraded when we returned (probably felt bad for us haha). Such comfortable rooms. Clean. AC worked amazingly. Blackout curtains. Hallways can echo and the lower your level the more you hear street sounds (we first stayed on the 6th floor, second stay was the 3rd). But we sleep fairly heavy just something I noticed. Extra in room amenities like tooth brush, shower caps, flip flops, and Q-tips. Mini bar (not complementary). 2 free waters a day. Lovely stay. If we ever make it back to Phnom Pehn we would stay here again.

Most amazing service. Everyone was so kind and attentive

Everything was great except the very slow internet in the room. I was on the second floor and it was a struggle to keep a good connection... The connection on the pool/restaurant was great! Location, service, ease of getting a tuc tuc was nice. We tried walking to the independence monument, doable but it gets hot quick. Other downside was the room uses refillable bath toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, etc), which is awesome, but they were all empty... Luckily I bought my own but I'm sure if I called to ask, they would have happily brought it up. Did I mention they ordered delivery for us because we got there after midnight? Awesome! For $15 you can email they to request for airport pickup!

This hotel is in a great location and views from the roof top pool and restaurant are great day and night. Modern decor in an industrial style. Searching for a dropped earring on the bathroom floor I did wonder how much dirt black concrete floors can hide. Also surprised my room was not refreshed after the first night - Did not need much but shower gel and tissues had run out. (I don’t know if one has to leave sign on door asking for room to be made up as I did not). Staff really helpful with maps, tuk tuks and advice on where to get my bag zip replaced (outside Russian market).
