The Beachfront Praia D'el Rey Golf & Beach Resort

Really nice apartment with a breathtaking wiew! We dont miss a thing here! This was a selfhold apartment, but we ordered breakfast as well! We were told that our breakfast were served at Mare Restaurant close by the apartment! Mare was open the day after arrival, but the rest of our vacation the restaurant were closed!! Disapointing!😔 But overalt we had a great stay! 👍 we had a great stay!

Beautiful property with spectacular views of the ocean!

We did not stay here because we could not find the hotel. The area is beautiful and wish we could have enjoyed it but we spent over an hour driving around into the dark trying to find the place. We called the hotel and were told to look for signs for another hotel and follow accordingly. GPS kept sending us to a dead end, we couldn’t locate signs for the other hotel, and the person on the phone was not helpful. We ended up staying in another hotel in town. Hopefully Hotels.com will help the situation and issue me a refund.

Amazing and stunning views of this wild coastline from the huge balcony. Off season so quiet and peaceful. Apartment felt quite cold as the weather wasn't great but we felt very relaxed here. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. Have stayed in the resort before as we enjoy the golf course but it was really good to self cater. There was also the option of using the hotel facilities (pool, spa etc) for a small fee.

We stayed here for one night as a last minute change of plan to break up the journey from Lisbon to Porto. What a find! We will definitely be back and next time for longer. The Villa was superb, beachfront location, wonderful views even though the weather for our stay was awful! It wasn’t busy due to the time of year and the resort itself is quite isolated. We were disappointed that the resort supermarket was closed for the winter season as we needed some provisions so ended up getting take out from the Clubhouse for dinner, which was fine. Couldn’t eat out due to our daughter being poorly so were grateful that they did take out! They provide a small welcome pack with a few teas/coffees etc with a note stating further supplies can be obtained from the supermarket but obviously not in winter! Luckily we took our own milk as this wasn’t provided. These are only minor negatives as we will definitely return just better equipped! Obviously the resort caters for golfers which isn’t our thing but it wouldn’t put us off returning.
