The Grand at Moon Palace - All Inclusive

The Grand at Moon Palace is a magical hotel with the friendliest staff ever! I especially want to thank the bellboy Efren and bartender Luis F. For going above and beyond the whole time we were there. I cant wait to stay here again.

Pushy pushy pushy always trying to sell.... ruined the trip...also good is not so great throughout

Brand new, stylish, lavish, located on a huge territory, fantastic beaches, awesome attentive and trained staff, fantastic food, plethora of choices. I felt that it was an extremely well managed place. The fact that they get a significant chunk of revenue from memberships (time share) probably allows them to spend significant amounts on service, food, amenities etc.

SOOO AMAZING!!!! We went as a family of four and had an amazing time! One of the best resorts we’ve ever stayed in. Amazing service! Our kids did not want to leave. We plan on visiting again in February!

awful, we came for a week. during the day of the hurricane ,we waited for the bus to take us to refuges camp a whole day! we missed 3 of our days at the hotel, they made us checked out, and promised for a refund for those days which we never received. all water slide were closed during all our stay, which had nothing to do with the hurricane, it was before hurricane even forecast. pool swim up which we payed extra was dirty and un-swimmable and water were cold. don’t waist your money on this hotel.

We love Moon Palace Grand! The staff were all very professional. We have nothing to complain about. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. There were so many options for food, drinks, and things to do. We wore our masks as all times, but many (probably most) guests did not wear masks, even in closed indoor spaces. All staff wore masks and they gave us hand sanitizer in every store and restaurant. The only thing to note were the racoons. On our second to last night, a group of three raccoons stalked us as we left the main lobby building with red velvet cake. We had to run back to our building. We made it back safely, but it was still scary. At night, you will see bats. We saw plenty of them and we even saw one on the floor of the main lobby building. The other thing to mention was that one staff member kept pressing us to go to a 90 mins Palace Elite session (which ended us being 2 hours). We felt that the presentation was very pushy and we did not even want to go. We felt pressured! Beware of that and simply don't waste your time going. We'll definitely go back to visit soon and tell our family and friends!

Amenities, water park, cleanliness, courtesy and hospitality were great . The food was okay but definitely they need to return to open buffets as soon as they can with more options specially for dinner time. Also, the staff has to work on their English at least to an extent that they can use simple words to understand guests! Actually,Raccoons were very annoying to my kids and there has to be a way to get rid of them !

Didn't even get there due to COVID. Still no news on changing the booking 2 months after I was supposed to go

Check in was a nightmare! We finally got our room only to get there and find out it hadn’t been cleaned yet so we were placed in a different room. The room wasn’t what we expected so we asked to switch rooms the following night only to get to that room and find out that, that room wasn’t ready either. They made me feel like I was being a bother to them.
