who ever built this place was an idiot, there were 2 electrical outlets in the room neither was close to the bed or any way to charge stuff , the window looked out onto a room full of junk , will never stay here again

You won't find a closer beach front room. This place is literally so close to the water it will be one of the first to go when sea level rises! This is not a primer property but for the access to the ocean and having your room literally near you....it is the perfect place!

Location is what you get with staying at Chichi Charlies. The hotel cleaning staff was amazing and did their best to keep the sand out of your room. The room was very economical and no frills, but i only really slept and showered there. Lots of hot water for the shower. The food and bar was expensive compared to other beach clubs, especially where the food outshines theirs. I had 2 beach chairs daily with staying at the hotel, but i had poor beach service. No problem, i can walk to the bar and get my own beers. Just means no tip for the waiters. I think they were hustling for the non-hotel beach goers. I probably won't stay again, but the view from my room was beautiful. And their beach front is beautiful. I was a solo female traveler and felt totally safe there. Im not giving a negative review at all, just honest from my experience.

I was surprised with this Hotel, by far the best location, beach and views, the room was clean and the staff was very friendly, we stayed 7 days in the Island, the hotel is walking distance from the ferry and from the center restaurants, the wifi only works when you are in the beach and the only downside is that the restaurant was only cash. Definitely I will come back.

They sold to non-hotel guests beach passes. Some of those non-hotel people were rude, noisy, belligerent. Not relaxing at all.

Disappointing

Original room had no ocean view, a floor like a skating rink, no internet and wasn’t available until 15.30. New room better. No one available in desk in mornings.

First off the view is the best in town for a sunset, which also could be the problem everyone comes there to see it. Parking for golf carts can be tricky if the driveway is blocked. The Amenities that are listed on the website is an error. The safe did not work, no hairdryer, Wi-Fi is basically useless, and you only get two towels no hand towels. If you want relaxing environment this is not a place for you. Music plays from 8 AM till 5 PM very loudly. There is hi traffic on the beach. If you’re looking just for a room to lay your head down this is a place for you.

We enjoyed our stay! Perfect view of the sunset, walking distance to Hidalgo st, the ferry, and the best sides of the beach. Accessible, simple, clean room. The food at the bar is okay, and drinks are a bit overpriced compared to other beachfront bars but worth it for the sunset view. They do offer a few free chairs and umbrellas. If you wish to rent from their other options, they are also more expensive than the other chair rentals. For us, it wasn’t a big deal because we already have a beachfront bar we love. The one thing I wished there would have been was a full-length body mirror. Everyone in the facility was great! Our cleaning services were excellent! We will recommend our friends, and we are staying here on our next visit To Isla Mujeres!
