Comfortable, convenient location

Our room was comfortable and quiet. Bed was comfortable, pillows are okay though I find all hotel pillows these days are those super mushy things. Breakfast was good lots of TV stations. Check in and check out were not great as there was no one at the desk either time. At check in I had to call the hotel from my cell phone while standing at the front desk to get someone to come down. At check out I gave up and left my keys with a note saying I checked out. The gym needs some attention. The treadmill incline is broken and the arm of the treadmill fell off while I was running on it. There is a pretty nice weight stack system but no bench which makes it difficult to do a lot of exercises. Just adding a bench would make a big difference.

I will choose StayBridge next time

I had a late check-in at 3:30AM. Young lady at front desk was friendly and informative. She let me know that they only clean the rooms every 3 days and I would have to request additional supplies via order forms on paper if I required anything beyond the 3 day clean. I stayed Sun - Fri and no one ever came to clean my room. On Thursday evening, I went to the desk where I waited for someone to show up as the entire time I was there, there was never an actual person at the desk, just a sign that said "we stepped away to assist another guest" and I asked the staff member for one towel and washcloth because I check out tomorrow and no one ever came to service my room all week. She said I needed to bring my dirty laundry to the lobby to get a single towel/washcloth. I asked could she bring it to my room if I set my towels out. She said she was the only staff member working and they aren't permitted to step away from the desk. Weird considering the sign that lives on the desk. They are always hiding around the corner, presumably because they can't sit while at the desk. So after working 12 hours shifts all week and dealing with the dirty diaper smell in the lobby and wet dog smell on the third floor, I went up, got my dirty towels to bring them down so she knows I'm not a thief and got my clean items. Also, for someone who can't leave the desk, sometime around 3AM she came to put my receipt under my door. I travel for work 2/3 weeks a month and this was the most bizarre experience.

Room 218 ?????????

We came for an Alumni MLB Home Run Derby Event at Carshield Field and the room at first glance was great. Looked clean. The room had a strong vanilla air freshener smell. We dropped off our suitcase and left for the event and when we returned, we noticed there was an odd smell in the room. We stayed in room 218. We thought someone just used the restroom next door... The vanilla scent was gone. Then when my husband took a shower, he realized the smell was actually coming from the drain. We aren't sure if it was not used in awhile or if it was a moldy smell, but it was pretty strong. Also, there was blue tape on the back of the remote control where the cover was missing and the knob in the fridge was missing so we could not keep our drinks cold that we had bought for our trip. The king size bed was comfortable and there was breakfast downstairs, but we did not participate since there was a youth soccer team staying and we let them enjoy themselves. We do like staying in O'Fallon since it is close to some favorite places of ours.

Room not ready

The only issue that concerned me was that we got there at 3 PM and our room hadnt even been started to be cleaned. I understand that if there is a startage in staff. Just wondering why it wasn't clean at check in time.

It was a very clean and comfortable place to stay. The lady at the front desk was super nice and friendly. We took 2 of our huskies with us and asked for a room close to an outside door and she set us up perfectly!! The room was very clean and beds super comfy. Will definitely stay there again if the need arises.
