Ayara Villas is laid back with a 10/10 level of service. Lots of outdoor seating options, pools, restaurants nearby. Quiet street. Rental scooter or hire a driver options, massage etc. After 14 days in Thailand we really loved our 4 nights here. Would recommend

The coffee, cake and fruit at 3.30 each day was quite unique. Unfortunately, this discontinued when it was low season, so could not take part in the last three days of my holiday. I'm sure there were sufficient folks to make it worth while all the time. The main town was quite a walk from the hotel, in very hot weather. They did go some way to overcoming this, in offering guests a chargeable shuttle one way and you make your own return. All round the world where the geography disadvantages a hotel regarding the location to either beach or town, a free shuttle is always provided both ways, once on a morning and again on the evening. It overcomes all the negative comments of this lovely hotel being in a remote location. The rooms were lovely and the three pools well maintained. The restaurant was great, overlooked the sea, some training of staff may be needed, to ensure delivery of availability of food at advertised opening times.

Apart from the variety of foods of breakfast, this resort is excellent. It has two big and one small outdoor pools, great for leisure and families. Room is big and clean. Thumb up to the enthusiastic staff, especially the reception (I remember one's name is Tan). They offered perfect services like friends.

Ayara Villas Difficult to find any positive points about this place. We arrived mid afternoon, the staff are quite cheerful, the lobby area is jaded, tired and just looks like it needs a complete update, in fact it’s probably best described as scruffy. We arrived in a rental car, we had requested parking ahead of our stay, but this was on the side of the road, which was concerning, as the road was quite narrow. We had booked and paid for a pool access room, we were asked if we wanted to see the room before we got our bags, we very quickly realised why, there are only a few pool access rooms and there is a massive building programme to enlarge the hotel going on adjacent to the rooms, we asked what time the noise starts and finishes, we were told 9 to 5, we decided that sticking with the room was the best option, as we didn’t fancy moving into one of the little cottages in the jungle area opposite that was full of bugs and insects. No concierge here, you lug your own bags to the room, thankful we were on the ground floor, as the route is up and down slopes and steps. The room really wasn’t what we were expecting, it was pretty basic, there again the room needs a complete refurb, the curtains are old, no net or voile drapes to provide any privacy, the bed is rock hard, one pillow each, the duvet doesn’t fit the bed, it’s too small for the width, the bathroom wouldn’t look out of place in a hostel, my husband had to crush a large bug on the bathroom floor on arrival, the

A nice hotel at the end of the road down from the market. A bit far but easy access to all restaurants. taxi's always down that way or if you had a scooter a short ride to the bars and restaurants. Stayed an extra day out of neccessity other wise i would not have. My only complaint is that nowhere on this site or on there website do they say there is construction. they are buidling another wing and one morning at 7:30am they were grinding away most mornings they were at it by 8am. hard to sleep in a relax with that. breakfast was minimal but adequate. little cared for beach and a few loungers to enjoy the sun.
