Riverleaf Inn Mission Valley

Rooms need some updating. Our room had no lights on the side tables. The towels are small and the toilet paper was very thin. The staff were very helpful but the place needs repairs. One night would have been ok but unfortunately we were there for 3 nights.

Rooms were kind of(?) like the ones in the photos on Hotels.com. Cleaning left A LOT to be desired and one of our rooms smelled a little like a rest stop bathroom and stale smoke but it was only for one night and the linens were clean so we grabbed a scented candle and some lysol wipes at a convenience store and survived to tell the tale. Definitely an old cheap skeezy motel that someone is trying to move up market.

There was roaches in my room and the floor was sticky witch footprints everywhere. The shower head leaked and sprayed everywhere there was an old can of soda in the rooms fridge

This hotel was excellent and extremely clean. Very quiet and peaceful and I'm impressed with the customer service 😀

On website stated had internet. The internet was down, the receptionist had told me can not refund room, but tried to give me their service providers number and told me to call them because he doesn’t know how to fix the connection. He was quite a bit angry. He did mention he missed out on a concert that his friends went to in LA. His hands were balled up the whole time since he mentioned it. He had scars on his enormous knuckles as if he was a vegan MMA fighter. Resembled baby camel testicles from my standpoint. Made me uncomfortable. I’d re-evaluate employees, especially receptionists if I was the management team there. I left the room untouched. I went down to another hotel that provided me with excellent internet connection. Bandwidth faster than Superman at an LA party, I’d recommend Motel 6 which is a block away, for sure. 10/10 thanks Motel 6, this hotel needs an instruction manual.
