Roma Luxus Hotel

Fantastic location and the 2 bedroom family suite was amazing - so much space!!! Only downside is the breakfast- we paid extra For it and the photos looked amazing. But we couldn’t do the buffet due to COVID which was fine but we ordered poached eggs and waited and waited. Then they told us they couldn’t do poached eggs (???) but they could do scrambled. We said fine and waited some more. After an hour (!), we said we had to go as we only had a few hours in Rome. They said fine but no apology or refund. So we paid a lot of money for a coffee and water and a bit of fruit....and a waste of an hour. What kind of hotel can’t manage eggs??!!!

Couldn't fault the Roma Luxus Hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect as everything was in walking distance (Colosseum, Roman Forum, Altar of the Father Land to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese) ***** - 5 stars. We will definitely be coming back!!

Amazing behind the Colosseum in a very nice central place, highly recommended

We could not get the thermostat to go below 24 deg C 75 Deg. F. When we opened the window the restaurant was below it so it was too noisy. They staff was great it was just the room temperature for sleeping was too hot for us. we missed that there was a $112 city fee that had to be paid in cash but we were able to work it out when leaving. Great location we walked to the Sistine chapel, Trevi Fountain, and Colosseum so location was great.

Close to tourist area and close to restaurants Washrooms are too small

the location of this hotel makes it an excellent place for a touristic visit to Rome. A couple of things caused inconvenience, there is no 'desk' as such in the bedroooms to work where a laptop could be plugged in (although the wifi signal and speed are excellent. There is a lack of plugs in the rooms for all the electrical clutter we need to have with us on holiday to stay in touch, recharge things etc. The breakfast was OK but only on the fourth morning of a four night stay did we have pointed out to us that we could have one of the cooked breakfast options, the wording implied to us Brits that it wasw always an extra charge! we expected that for a 5 star hotel a complimentary bottle of water would be each day not one for 4 days1

Hotel was very close to Roma Termini. About a 10-15 minute walk but if you prefer taxi it’s about 6-10 euros. Was also within walking distance to coliseum. Hotel was very clean. They do provide you with ear plugs for the night since it is loud outside during the night. As well if you need a taxi the staff downstairs is able to call one. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here and I would recommend staying here. Felt safe and comfortable.

The staff was great especially Julia who was in charge of the breakfast buffet.
