Hyatt Place Oklahoma City / Bricktown

It is the first time I have ever had to pay for parking. Every other hotel parking came with the room rate. Room was okay, light fixtures were falling out of the bathroom ceiling.

Great place to stay- just disappointed in everything closed for COVID. Will be nice to get real breakfast again someday instead of paper sack

I enjoyed my stay. It was very clean, very roomy, and very comfortable.

The hotel itself was great. Very nice rooms and amazing comfortable beds. The problem is letting rift-raft in the rooms. we witnessed a couple of parties of people that came into the hotel with the guests that were completely drunk. There was a huge fight on the 4th floor at 3am that woke people up all over the hotel. Great hotel but need to upgrade their security greatly. Not sure if I would stay there again. We were woke up numerous times throughout the night.

Super clean, comfortable and safe. Great location near restaurant and nightlife. Parking was a fee but a private lot. Across from a police substation. I did not like a $75 pet fee. To me, that’s excessive and unnecessary as my cat was in a carrier . Hotel is new and modern.

Room was not ready when we arrived after check in, did not get a room with a tub as booked and noted, AC was not working in our room for the first day, bathroom had a musty smell, a few towels were stained.

Parking is $14 a night, it’s across the street, uncovered and tricky to walk across the road when there is bad weather. The room had a smoked in/rotten milk smell. The pillows were down feather(allergic). There is a mini fridge but no microwave which is completely barbaric. I hate Hyatt’s because of this strange policy that there are no microwaves in the room. And forget a communal microwave because Covid. It was a pretty room but I wouldn’t stay there again.

We chose this hotel based on the location and the reviews. Because of this, I feel I must also leave a review. The bad night started right at check in. The front desk staff that was checking me in was rude and not helpful. She made the entire experience miserable. Had I not already paid for the room online, I would have walked right out. We were informed parking was complimentary, but it was not. Parking is also across the street, not next to the building. Which was just a minor hiccup. Just a longer distance to carry everything. Absolutely the worst experience I have had a hotel with a staff member, though. We got to our room and the hotel looked cleanly and updated, they also have great precautions in place for COVID which was appreciated. But unfortunately, the night did not get much better as the bathroom had not been cleaned. There was long dark hair all over the shower floor, the wall, and the shower door. This was pretty gross and not at all what I would deem acceptable when allowing someone into a "cleaned" room. It is not a hotel we will choose again.

We really like the design of this hotel, the modern furniture, and the overall atmosphere was really pleasing. We were disappointed however that the pool had no heating, so the water was freezing. We couldn’t go swim with the kids in it. We like to have a hotel room has a living room corner, next to the beds, so it was a very comfortable stay as a family. We missed the breakfast, but that’s how it is during Corona.
