Modern Hotel Aruba

Wow. Compared to the high rise resorts, we enjoyed this place SO much more. Bang for your buck.

The Modern Hotel was nothing short of AMAZING. We stayed in the Moroccan Retreat room. The bathroom is to die for. The property was spotless. Everything was well maintained. We felt at home and very safe as we witnessed the cleaning crew perform thorough cleaning during this COVID pandemic. As far as check-in goes, we were greeted as soon as we pulled up to the property. We had no problems communicating with the owners. Whatever assistance you need they are just a phone call away. They were available to assistance you prior and during your stay. Hospitality was great. Oh and the location is perfect. Just a few minutes from the beach. I will definitely be returning.

The room was large size and had nice decor and was 10 minute walk to beach . The pool is nice and the grounds are quiet . The price is right as well . Nothing glaring comes to mind about negatives . Chill relax and dont expect the Hyatt .

Property wae nice and clean

My partner and I had a great time! We love the spacious room and privacy. This hotel is quiet and away from the hustle of the high rise hotel strip. No children so it felt mature and relaxing. The penthouse looks just like the photos and the service was nice. The walk to the beach as fine, but can be annoying at night. Be sure to bring petty cash for taxis. I would highly recommend!

I read reviews of many properties in Aruba before making my reservation. I decided on Modern Hotel Aruba because every review had positive things to say. My only concern was being close to the large hotels on Palm Beach. Modern Hotel Aruba was the absolute best choice. Not really a “hotel” a small quaint apartment building in a quite residential area. A totally easy walk to the beach, and even a market, if you don’t have a car. The hosts promptly messaged me after my reservation to get my arrival info and were there to greet us. We spent our mornings and afternoons on the beach and returned for some pool time (which we often had all to ourselves), before heading out to dinner. You won’t regret booking this property!

Absolutely loved staying here with my sister for a long weekend getaway. Very walkable to the beach as well as a grocery store to get supplies. Pool area is large enough to have your own space or socialize with other travelers if you prefer. Highly recommend

Very quiet and intimate hotel. It was very clean. It was difficult to get to the main road in Aruba from the hotel without a car. Path was essentially a dirt path and quite muddy. We would’ve liked to of had a blanket included in the room.
