Our room was wonderful! The pool was wonderful! The staff was wonderful! The views were wonderful! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely stay here again... Very nice hotel!!!

La experiencia fue buena , el hotel me gustó mucho y su personal de trabajo muy atentos , pero quisiera sugerirles q amplíen el menú , para nosotros fue muy repetitivo y con muy pocas opciones, seria bueno q lo tuvieran en cuenta , gracias

It was in poor condition, understaff, un equipped, poorly managed . The pictures online is not at all it’s reality . Many things and broken un repair and has severe lack of maintenance . The handheld on the bathtub broken off, the windows at the balcony dirty barely. An see out of them . AIR CONDITIONING was not working, coffe maker electric outlet broken . AT RESTAURANT THEY WERE OUT OF DRU KING WATER. The pool and Jacuzzi poorly condition. Missing tiles, not bathroom paper at the pool lady’s room . The water for the bathtub at the trim was yellow . Room services was not open and slow because the lack off staff. DEPLORABLE comparable to any property we have been in Mexico .

Be cautious booking this hotel!!! We had booked 5 nights, when we arrived to the resort at around 9pm on the first night they told us they did not have a room for us, they had overbooked their rooms. Leaving us with no where to stay! The front desk helped us look for different hotels to stay in and found one 20 mins away. She said that we would be refunded for the night at senses and they would help compensate us for the new hotel. We were put in a taxi and taken to a very questionable area, when we got there they hadn’t even called ahead to book us a room and the hotel was booked, it was around 11pm at this point. The taxi driver took us back to Senses where there was a new worker. This worker looked for another hotel and found one 30 mins away, and he also informed us that we would be refunded but we would not be compensated like the other worker had promised. We were not about to get in another taxi and driven somewhere else. I did my own searching, and I found that there was availability at the hotel RIGHT NEXT DOOR! It took an hour for the front desk worker to book this hotel for us and once we did we had to walk there! It was right next door but we had to walk for 20 mins down and long dark gravel road because it was all in closed and the front gate was on the other side, and it was 2am!! We never were compensated and we still haven’t been refunded, every time we contact them about it they do not respond. Expedia cannot reach them either! Very unsatisfied and ANGRY!

We visited from the U.S. and stayed at the Artisan for 5 nights. There are definitely pros and cons to this place and I think we would have had a little bit better experience if our expectations matched the reality. This is a really small resort, and it isn’t within walking distance of any activities or restaurants, so if you want to do activities or eat anywhere else you have to pay for a taxi. However, the oceanfront views were incredible and there is beach access (but the beach is very seaweed-y so we didn’t really spend time there) Although small, the pool is in a really beautiful spot with the water coming right up against the ocean. I think this place has potential, but we were actually very let down by our room. The floors are basically dirty-looking cement, the furniture is visibly old and has bleach spots/is fraying, the decor was meh. My biggest issue was the leaking ceiling (water would drip down for several minutes after we took a shower) and we saw a couple cockroaches on the floor on our last day (yikes!!). The bed, sheets and towels did seem very clean though. There’s a snack bar which is open until 5, and the food and drinks from there were great. The restaurant on the roof had amazing views and the food was always delicious but lacked variety. The staff was always really friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant staff! The front desk only uses WhatsApp though and response times could be quite slow.

My husband and I really liked this place! I was a little nervous because of some of the other reviews but the entire staff was excellent and super friendly! Make sure to go down early and put your things on one of the canopies' if you want one for the day because that's what everyone else seems to do. That would be my only complaint because people can do that and not come down for hours which to me seems kind of inconsiderate for the other guests. I was fine laying out on the lawn chairs, but it would have been nice to lay on one that wasn't being utilized. The staff at Senses really went out of their way to make our stay special.

The location okay , the staff and the rooms were great excellent service. However I wish there was more to do but luckily we had a car so we were able to do tours and travel . But over all I must say that everything went well. We will stay here again 😍
