Lovely place!

We booked in here for our honeymoon and was amazed with the room as it is clean and beautiful just as shown in the photos! Owen and Margaret and the rest of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They even upgraded us to the sea view room as a wedding gift! Breakfast is amazing! It’s also a perfect spot as it is near to the beach and the shops. Will definitely be back here and we highly recommend Oyo Minerva Guesthouse!

Nice place, well situated and all good overall. Access by car was a bit fiddly but the hotel sent detailed instructions in advance which was great, and managed to park on the road one night and in the nearby secure car park the next night. The staff were really friendly and I'd definitely stay here again.

Lovely place

The guesthouse is in perfect location, less than 1 minute walk to the centre and a 2/3 minute walk to the beach. We even walked to Newquay Zoo which took us 20 mins approx. Parking- some limited spaces at the front of the hotel, 3/4 spaces. We did manage to park twice onsite (we stayed 5 nights) on the other nights we managed to find parking on the road right outside the guesthouse apart from one night as it was Easter weekend but we parked in car park just up the road which was free for overnight parking. The guesthouse is more like a hotel, it was very clean, tidy and rooms where lovely. We didnt have a sea view as had a back yard view but it was quiet and we were happy with that. Plenty of tea/coffee in the room, towels changed each day if needed. Shower is fantastic and always hot. Breakfast is fantastic and you can choose from a selection on the menu. I.e. full English breakfast or sausage and bacon roll or pancake, fruit and syrup, cereals etc. The ladies serving breakfast are so nice and helpful (thank you). Lots of restaurants close by, but our favourite was the boathouse (street food) well worth a visit ! I would definitely recommend the place and if i had to say one negative thing it would be that the breakfast was a little slow, so if you are going out for the day sightseeing etc get down to breakfast as soon as you can.

Great Welcome, location and Room.

Wow, a great welcome, a great room and well looked after by the owners. I needed an early breakfast and they helped and ensured I got something before I departed. Many thanks to Margaret and her team. Will stay again.
