Amedia Plaza Dresden

The rooms are attractive and comfortable. It's well-priced, and in a very convenient neighborhood, in the heart of the Old Town and about a 20-minute walk from the train station.

Great location for the museums and opera which is why we came to Dresden. Would definitely re-book at the Amedia.

Walking distance to the Christmas markets. Staff assisted with our needs and with check out taxi.

Great position right on the square by the Frauenkirche, restaurants and close to all the sights. Good sized rooms, very comfortable. Great breakfast and we also ate in the restaurant in the evening which served excellent food and was very reasonably priced. Helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.

In the back corner of the market square and convenient to everything in the inner city. Clean and friendly staff.

Even though the room was looking newly renovated, the cleanliness was a great disappointment. The floor was full of hairs and the toilet was not cleaned properly (there were stains). I will not stay there again and do not recommend anyone to stay there.

everything was very good - close to Frauenkirche and only a few minutes walk from the opera, all on the doorstep. Good breakfast. only drawback was noise from the building site next door whcih started early, but this is very temporary.

Great hotel, but if your room faces the construction - it starts promptly at 7am.

We did enjoy our stay at Amedia Plaza - not that easy to find, tucked away but in a great spot to explore the old town. Shame there was construction going on in front of the hotel but perhaps these things are to be expected in the cooler months when there aren't as many tourists. We were locked out of our room due to a faulty door mechanism and the receptionist had to accompany us to it each time we returned. We could have moved rooms but as we were only staying two nights it didn't seem worth it. Interesting set-up for breakfast when we had to go into Vapiano Restaurant next door. Buffet was ok but disappointing when the waitress tells you no more pancakes and there's still another 15mins of breakfast time available! Overall it was a 6/10 and scored that mostly for its location.
