Canongate Luxury Homestay

The stay was wonderful! The particular apartment is decorated with Harry Potter paraphernalia in a most delightful way with many subtle references to the world of wizardry. My son, who is staying in Edinburgh, came with me when I checked in, and as a big Harry Potter fan couldn't believe all the interesting references, paintings, memorabilia etc. - a real wizard's haven! Although it is an apartment and you check yourself in, it was easy to find everything as I had received detailed instructions beforehand from the apartment's manager. The apartment is on the Royal Mile and perfectly located for shopping and there are excellent restaurants(one next door) and a lovely breakfast spot/bakery( right across the road) nearby. The apartment has a lovely large main bedroom(with a tv) with a little nook bed "in the cupboard" and their own tv for the little ones in another area. The kitchen is very well equipped with a coffee machine, washing machine, microwave etc. and there is a hair dryer, and even a hair iron available. The living room is spacious and again with a tv, tv games etc.. Although I was on my own, this will be perfect for a small family. I loved the experience and it gave me a real feel of living in Edinburgh, as opposed to a sterile hotel experience. I felt very safe staying there on my own. I can strongly recommend it. It also has free Wi-Fi.

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft im 100% positiven Sinne! Sehr schöne und interessante Stadt. Alles fußläufig erreichbar. Wir (2 Erw., 2 Kinder) kommen gerne wieder nach Edinburgh und ins Canongate Luxury Apartment.
