Great place in Pedasi

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. April, the owner, was a great hostess and provided everything we needed. She was a wealth of information and her suggestions were spot on. We will stay definitely stay again.

We loved staying at Casa Lajagua!! April & Beto we excellent hosts, their top notch hospitality left us feeling welcome, safe and at home. The daily included breakfast was delicious. We loved the homemade smoothie made mostly with fruits from their own garden. We found a Home away from Home. We are already planning to return and highly recommend Casa Lajagua to anyone considering a stay! They will not disappoint ❤️

Our host April and Beto were friendly and very informative. We had to live early for our fishing trips and April made sure she got breakfast ready and was very accommodating of our needs. Loved the freshly made tropical smoothies April prepared for us everyday. I enjoyed the properties landscape and gardens it exuded peace and calm. The hammocks were very relaxing - I loved them so much I bought 2 for me to bring home 😊. The bar is an added luxury and prices very affordable. This is a great place for couples for families for solo travelers. - Rona A.

What a welcome......or was it just a bad day?

I have read the reviews and this is why I chose this hotel for our weekend getaway to Pedasi. Our group of four adults arrived around 5 pm on Friday, June 29th. Upon arrival, we went to the bar area where we were greeted by a very friendly young lady who proceeded to check us in and gave us the key to our room. We opened the room and were overcome with an unfamiliar and quite unpleasant smell. It seemed to permeate the entire room. That said, we told the young lady that we could not stay in the room and asked what other accommodations could be made. She said she would call the owners and see what could be done. After 30 minutes, the owners arrived, walked up rather abruptly and very rudely told me that the grounds were non-smoking and to "go out in the parking lot for that", as she gestured in a smoking fashion and admonished the young lady for allowing me to smoke (outside) on the grounds. We told them that the room was uninhabitable and they responded that they had sprayed for mosquitos with a natural spray that was not harmful and that it's "normal". We told them we could not stay in that room and they said that's fine, we'll cancel your reservation and you can leave. No other option Nice, leave the four of us in a lurch so you can go back to the fishing tournament? We had an amazing stay at Casa De Campo and will never return to this establishment again. We live in Coronado and will ensure everyone we talk to knows how we were treated.
