Fairway Lodge Motel

This was a great spot for our overnight break from travel. It was clean, quiet (even though it was fully booked) and comfortable. Everyone in the family got the good night sleep we needed.

A good, reasonable value motel. Comfy bed, clean room and short drive back to town or the highway. Soft pillows and comfy bed. WHITE linen too. Has little barbecue shelter sheds with picnic tables in the garden near the car park which we used. A well run unpretentious highway motor lodge.

We stayed only 1 night here. Tha parking is conveniently located next to the room. The room was clean, had fridge, air-conditioning and was nice and peaceful.

A great choice for staying in Kempsey

Punches well above the motel star rating - lovely staff and absolutely spotless rooms. We were made to feel welcome straight away. Good blinds and curtains on the front windows, and we really didn't hear much traffic noise. Enough open ground out the front for the dog to feel at home. The towels aren't big but they're clean and fluffier than some 5 star hotels I've been to... The BBQ shelters were fabulous for lunches - we had our family in 2 rooms and having our lunch outside together was lovely. They even lent us a bowl to make salad when we had a BBQ one evening. We were in the area to research family history and visiting friends, so being close to the museum and we liked being in a quiet, park-like area instead of in town. Improvement suggestions: a little bit of dishwashing detergent in the rooms, more towel rails and hooks, and a support/hand rail for the toilet. If you have mobility issues and can't stand straight up from the toilet, the headspace is a bit tight, and a hand rail to lean on would go a long way to helping. As it is, our towel rail was very sturdy so that worked out well. All in all, we will be back and already planning our next trip :-)

RIP-OFF

didn't get to stay. unfortunate circumstances stopped me from travelling and They would not let me change the date and were happy to take my money for nothing . I will NEVER book there again . I will be a regular visitor to Kempsey so other motels will get regular business from me but NOT this one
