The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the facilities were clean and beautiful. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone wanting to visit Denpasar.

Beautiful hotel with flower petals scattered everywhere. Wonderful staff, really comfortable bed and very good breakfast (including a wonderful 'picnic' breakfast in a lovely badket as we had to leave early in the morning. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel in a good location.

I was in Bali with my family for a wedding. I stayed in Alantara for 4 nights in a "suite" which included a bath tub and an outdoor shower. Overall the hotel is beautiful and all the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast and lunch at the hotel restaurant is good, but not great. The gym is a bit dated, but is good enough. The hotel also has a spa which is nice. When first arriving at the hotel I thought we'd gone the wrong place. It is on a small street in a residential neighborhood. It isn't close to the beach, but offers a free hourly shuttle bus. We used it to go to restaurants and shops, but never went to the beach. We had no problem finding good restaurants nearby. We did a few day trips to the Bali Zoo, Bali Bird Park, and Bali Reptile Park (the kids like animals...) and they were all within 30 minute taxi ride from the hotel.

The staff were very nice and chatty. The setting is pleasant and off the main road so pretty quiet. Rooms were clean. Nice little touches like a welcome drink and flowers and fruit. The spa treatment was good. Menu was good. The airport transfer was good. The only thing that annoyed me about the hotel was the other guest’s lack of manners/ consideration when using the pool. (This is not the staff’s fault). The pool is central and most rooms look on to it, the restaurant looks on to it, and the only bar is the double sided swim up bar, so if there are squealing people in the pool you can’t get away from them.

Very nice property, except sound was a problem. Very loud music and shows made it difficult with a child as the music would go until 10PM most nights. Being right near the pool, we could hear everything form outside in our room, be it kids in the pool or adults sitting around the pool at night listening to the music. Location wise was not the easiest to walk to anything either. Needed to have a car-moto-or rely on shuttle. Food was good flavour and variety, but I got food poisoning that kept me in the room for a full day.

Excellent stay!

After enjoying Bali and Gili Air we booked just one night in this beautiful hotel. Nice pool area and good food. A bit out of season and not fully booked, but great service and food in the restaurant.
