The hotel rooms walk right out to a well maintained beach. Can access front desk for most of the day and are accommodating. The Bistro is not traditional food but is chef quality and reasonable in pricing. Hotel room could use cosmetic upgrades expected in higher end hotels like removable shower head and repairing some wall damage. Staff was super friendly and I would stay there again

This was a lovely place to stay - having a cabana right on the beach meant waking up to the sunrise with waves lapping the shore. The Bistro is exceptional. Dee and Marlin were super helpful in making sure all of our days tours were organized - making the most of our ten days! This accommodation is quite far away from the main village so you need to choose it if you are looking for somewhere away from the busy areas - we felt like we were totally able to decompress so it was perfect for us!

A wonderful complex on the Sea. Plenty of views and the best place we ate while there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I just wish my room had a microwave to be able to save some of the food we couldn't eat due to the generous portions.

Was a great stay in every way. Amazing food, great service and staff, ample hammocks, sweet pool and right on the beach. Also, full cable TV and quality internet connection (my US zoom meetings went on without a hitch...just had to hide the palm trees!) :) Only minor complaint is, due to current shut down of other properties, can't really walk to many other places for dinner/entertainment (though there is a supermarket and a pizza/bowling alley nearby). Recommended!

Love Maya Bistro

We love Maya Bistro! This is our 4th stay with them! The staff remembers us every time we stay. Ellen and John are great people and have a wonderful place! Food is amazing as well! Thank you for another amazing stay!

This property is amazing!.. The staff, the food, the room... everything about it. A lot of the hotels in the area I think are misrepresented online. This one is not! It's everything they claim to be and more. I'll be back.

Nice Hotel outside Placencia

This was a great hotel near Placencia, Belize. The staff was very accommodating in getting us a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is right on the beach, has a pier with chairs and hammocks, has a pool, and has an attached bar/restaurant. We were able to check in in the early afternoon. Our room (Coconut) had its own attached balcony with a great view of the water. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms have both A/C and ceiling fans. There's also a safe in the room for valuables. This hotel is about 10km outside Placencia, so you'll need a taxi to get to town, but the hotel is very good about either scheduling one or calling one when you ask. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay here.
