The bed is full of female hair seems didn’t change liner and bedding cover , complaint with staff and they just tell us won’t be like this for next visit , for out 2 night booking , we left after few hours of check in as such cleanliness and staff response as this is second visit and we have so many travel all the year , this is kind of worst case ever had

I loved everything about my stay from the check in process (welcome drinks, footbar bath, and snacks!) to the outdoor / rock bath reservation ease, friendliness of staff, and room cleanliness - I don't think I've ever had a more luxurious stay anywhere else. Also, the general area is just beautiful and quaint.

The property and staff were amazing. Our family of four enjoyed our stay and the soaking in the onsite onsen. The property was beautiful and we felt like we had a wonderful Japanese experience.

Very attentive staff! They were amazing. The room was large and had a great view. We had a semi-open air onset. It was a wonderful experience which was fun to have a more traditional Japanese hotel stay.

Talk about taken care of when you are there. From check-in to the exit, I felt that I was taken care of. My room (#302) had its own outside onsen bath with a great view. The room was beautiful and it has a lot of the charm. The dinner and breakfast was dealt at the restaurant and not it your room, so be aware of that. The food was multi course per meal so you will be full. Another thing you should know is that if you have an onsen bath in your room, don't really bother with the private bath reservation. The hot stone room was fine though. My regret is that I only book it for one night. Will do more nights with them in the future.

Staff attention

The welcome drinks and treats during the happy afternoon hour were fabulous and surprise to us. Love the quiet hotel with very nice and awesome view of Mount Hakone. There was a complimentary private onsen hour but something didn't went well with the confused old man from the reception who assigned key to us and others to the private onsen in the late evening!

Hotel located within 5 mins from Gora station, very easy to locate. Fabulous room with good dinner and breakfast. However, found hair on the jacket for yukata
