Cave Mountain Motel

Layout and décor harkens back to the 70s and the rooms and bathroom were small, but everything was absolutely ship-shape. Beds very plush. flat screen TV. Breakfast did not have hot dishes, but was clearly better than most continental breakfasts. Very convenient to Windham

The Cave Mountain Motel was a quaint old stop over. The fixtures and decor were VERY old, but extremely CLEAN with no bad odors found in many stay overs of its age. It was well suited for a ski trip in that so much of your daily activity is at the mountain and in town. The commute is extremely short from the town center. TV and Wifi worked, water was hot and towels plentiful. Bring shampoo and conditioner as this is not provided. The owners were lovely people and had hot coffee and light breakfast waiting when we started our day.

The owners seem like nice people. I did not enjoy the complimentary breakfast, as I had to leave early. Dated, and not a particularly comfortable bed, but the value for the price was there. If I am ever in Windham alone again, I will certainly stay there.

Loved the homey atmosphere. The mountains were in our front yard. Took some amazing pics. Proprietor was kind, funny and made us feel right at home.

This property is in a great location, close to the little town and several good restaurants. The view of the mountains during fall foliage is excellent. Ck-in was fast and owner was pleasant. Room was clean but basic, there was a strong smell of some type of cleaning product which I found a bit overwhelming. They don’t supply shampoo/conditioner or hair dryer so make sure to pack your own. Overall we had a great weekend.

Very quaint little motel with great views. Rooms are dated but nicely decorated and extremely clean. Owners Art and Jean are such nice hosts. Made for a wonderful stay in the Catskills.

Clean and spacious room. Great to have a refrigerator. Owners are kind and helpful. We had everything we needed for a quiet and restful stay. Thanks!!
