Splash Beach Resort, Mai Khao, Phuket

Our stay was amazing, staff was really great, specially khun Boy at the reception. My kids had a wonderful time at the park which is connected to the hotel. We are definitely coming back! Breakfast was delicious and the rooms very comfortable and cozy!!!

The property is big and close the the airport. Many activities for the children and the staff service is good. However, cleanliness is a problem. We walked into our room and there was a cockroach splashed on the bathroom wall, hair everywhere on the floor and the floor was dirty. We asked to change rooms which we did and it was better cleaned. However, the lobby area was also very dirty, public areas and stains on walls. The furniture and cushions were so dirty that the floor was a better spot to sit.

The property is well maintained and the water park was good. The uncertainty in the rules and denying of the late checkout outright. I have seen in Phuket generally that hotels and other folk are only interested in money and not necessarily in service.

The water park and being on the beach were wonderful! The pools were fun also. The food was a little pricy and not many kid food options.

This resort hotel is very good for family especially with little children. I have two boys aged 8 & 6 years old and stayed at this hotel 5 nights. We went to water park every day and enjoyed swimming in infinity pool at hotel. Breakfast is wonderful. There are variety of choices. All Staff is very kind and friendly. There are local restaurants near the hotel and seven eleven. If you want to have relax holidays with your children, I recommend this hotel.

The property first impression came across weak, we were offered no hot towels or welcome drinks upon arrival. We went to the splash restaurant for breakfast which is well below a 5 star hotel built. However 2 days in you come to appreciate everything else much more specially the pools and beach. The bedrooms were great as well. However the staff service is very poor, room service take a 40min and they cut your call off when you call reception.

hit and miss

First room was terrible, filthy, outlook onto rubbish dump, poor room configuration. Moved rooms to a better building, better space, layout and cleaner. Kids loved the water park and great place to stay if young kids really love water play.
