Hotel Rec Barcelona - Adults only

Near the Arc des Triomf. Great facility with eating establishments and public transportation within walking distance. Breakfast buffet was versatile and fresh each day. Staff very helpful with directions and requests. Would stay there again!

Very nice hotel and very good staff. The front desk had very good, courteous and helpful staff. If I had one complaint it would be the graffiti and homeless right next to the building, but no one ever bothered us.The decor and roof top lounge are very nice and we loved the very large bed!

You will not regret booking to stay in this hotel. The staff are excellent; friendly, knowledgeable and most concerned that we were safe while Barcelona rioted. The hotel is modern and quirky. Door to stairs are hidden and corridors taper and run at strange angles. Your bed will be huge. I mean huge, covered with pillows and cushions and although not large is perfectly good and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is good, served in the top floor lounge. This also serves as a bar in the evenings. There is an outdoor area with a small pool. You will be spoilt for choice for bars and restaurants in the local area but despite this out room was pretty quiet even though we were only on the second floor overlooking the street.

Me and my partner could not fault this hotel at all! When we checked in a lovely lady got us a refreshment, wished my partner a happy birthday AND upgraded us for free . The hotel too was clean, cosy and just really nice - we slept like babies. After our first day exploring the city we came back to discover a complimentary bottle of Cava with a hand written note. That evening we headed up to the rooftop bar, the views are amazing in the day & evening. The staff were lovely and friendly & we even had a chat to the staff member who checked us in who was enjoying her evening off on the rooftop. It says a lot about a place if your staff finish work and still want to spend time there id say! We’ll 100% be back the next time we visit Barcelona. Thank you Hotel REC!
