Very good hotel and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the best location right next to the old town. You cannot do better location wise. Great breakfast and staff. My only complaint was the bed - it was so hard and the room was too hot. They need softer mattresses.

Great Hotel

Great hotel. Staff were lovely and helpful. The location is in the perfect spot to see all of Old Town and for tours. Breakfast was good as well. The bed was a little hard for our liking but other than that no complaints.

Modern, perfect location, and very kind staff

A superb hotel right in the center of town and close to everything you need to see. Everything about the stay was top notch. Right from the start the the hotel staff coordinated the hotel shuttle with me even though I asked about it a little late. In the middle of a pandemic, it is vital that your hotel provide assistance with some of the important travel details, and the folks at Hotel Sana went above and beyond. For example Mirnela at the front desk was invaluable in securing my PCR documents when they arrived from the health ministry (which was required for me to get back home) and she helped coordinate my return to the airport; her recommendation struck the perfect balance between getting me there with enough time to go through security while not being rushed. When in a foreign country these little details really add up, especially as regulations change. COVID was taken seriously at this hotel in regards to cleanliness and masking, which was wonderful to see. The rooms themselves are both large and very clean, with modern amenities (I fell in love with the shower pressure). I only had breakfast one of the mornings but it was quite good, a freshly prepared omelet. For location, I never once felt the need to get a taxi or take the tram as I was in walking distance of all the "must sees," from museums to the White Mosque to the cable cars. Sarajevo is an amazing city of vibrancy and culture, and the Hotel Sana is a great place to take in the sights. Highly recommended.

This is great hotel. It is right in the city center, in the middle of the old Sarajevo town. Great experience and amazing staff. Very friendly and helpful. We arrived by car so they were great and took it to the parking for us. We paid 15KM (around 7 Euros) per night and were able to get the car whenever we needed it. Will come back and definitely recommend it!

Everything is good

We stayed in this hotel for two nights when we visited Sarajevo. Hotel is within walking distance to the old town and there is direct tram (#1) from the old town to the bus station. Hotel staff are very nice and helpful, breakfast is good.

Excellent location, wonderful and helpful staff, nice continental breakfast. The hotel has only 17 rooms, if I would stay at Hotel Sana again I’d opt for a room away from the front. It can get noisy because of the tram and cars. The hotel rooms would benefit from an overhaul, especially the carpets, bathroom and the TV whose system has seen better days too.

Ten plus

This is the best hotel with the best staff. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. Great location. I was allowed early check-in. Front desk helped me print and return my overseas voting ballot. I could not believe how helpful they were. I would absolutely stay again.
