I love the room. It was big and had small balcony.

Great location, quiet, close to city center, few minutes walk to the Metro at Marques do Pombal, the Bus 730 stops right in front of the building. Lots of nearby cafes, restaurants, grocery stores and parks. We stayed 7 nights at this property in mid April, it was clean and orderly. Breakfast you have to make it yourself from groceries from the kitchen. The kitchen and 2 bathrooms are shared with others on each floor. For those that travel light, there is wash machine available if needed, but no dryer. Couple of public laundry nearby, 1 Euro gets you about 15 minutes dry time. Older building so there is no A/C, could be a challenge in the summer. Ear plugs are a must if you happen to share the floor with noisy primates that has no common sense. During our stay only 2 nights we had to deal with that.

excellent comfort rooms, good breakfast, good space overall. only down sides are people shouting at middle of night, can hear walking and giggeling because sounds vibrates around everywhere.

Value for money. Wide bed, clean room, clean toilet and bathrooms (shared). Kitchen amenities were adequate. Homey patio for resting. Safe neighborhood, with nearby grocery stores. Wifi was strong. You can leave your luggage at the office with no worries. Downside: Old style door locks/keys that are noisy to use. Too much echo noise in the rooms.
