El Camino Motel

It was very musty smelling. It didn’t bother me that it was old but they could invest in some paint new carpet’s and dehumidifiers.

This property has spacious grounds, good, pleasant staff and is walking distance to town and the casino. It is also unique in that it is small, personal, (since you see and talk with the owner,), privately owned and quiet.

Its was a good price for the amount of time you stay in a room. The beds were awesome. Close to the casino however you cannot walk through the casino parking lot and catch the shuttle due to construction. Had a nice refrigerator in the room but no soda machine.

The owners are great, very friendly and accommodating. This is a no frills hotel but it was clean, dog friendly and worked out perfectly for us.Very convenient for those traveling with pets, lots of grassy areas; it is walkable to the casino which is nice.

Clogged sink.door wouldnt shut want a refund.felt scared all night

good locaton to the casino.Hot water was mininal along with warter pressure.Room was clean but smelly and the carpet was probably clean but looked horrible.I wont stay there again .And pricey .

Place needs serious updating. Room keys inconsistent, wifi was not sufficient. At least there were no bugs.

Cigarette burns on the carpet and tub. We had a couple of stink bugs in the room.

Staff was very nice- I believe they were the owners. We stayed for one night starting the Blue Ridge Parkway drive. Make sure you asked for a non-smoking room - the smoking room reeks of stale cigarettes. Rooms are large with two beds. This motel needs lots of upgrading. No breakfast and internet is spotty. It was not inexpensive but I would pay more to stay somewhere else.

Literaly couldnt use the toilet and no one was in the office for help.. worst hotel stay ever
