South Landing Inn Niagara on the Lake

We were placed in a room without our knowledge that only had a King after booking a room with two queens. When we arrived, we were given the option of switching rooms but told it was in a motel that would likely be louder, and that the King room would come with breakfast. Unfortunately the other guests were quite loud in the Inn until midnight, and noise travels up the staircase, so our sleep was impacted. The breakfast was also minimal - a muffin and a juice.

We paid extra for a room with a fireplace and balcony. The fireplace was up high on the wall. There are no restaurants in the area. Our second night had the room above rented and the lady wore heels and was up late. Our first night my husband caught 6 stink bugs (flying beetles) in the room. We were not happy with the room, amenities, or area. The previous renter had left a coat in the closet. We were never asked if we enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time in the Niagara region and this hotel was a nice tucked away spot close enough to the action! Staff super friendly

We really enjoyed our mini vacation in queenston. The owners are very friendly check in was fast. Our guest room was nice and comfortable. Will be going back next year.

Very nice stay, with *almost* a view of the lake! It was incredible clean, comfortable and friendly staff. There is even a secure storage area for bikes that we were able to make use of.

The communication before hand was very much appreciated and the check in process was smooth. My friends and I really appreciated receiving the wine tasting coupons; thank you. We would have loved having a balcony due to the present situation but the room was in great condition and it was super clean. Thank you for the stay.

Beautiful location, near to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Will definitely be back!

This hotel is located in the historic village of Queenston near two museums and the riverfront. It is a great option if you want something somewhere quaint but affordable as Niagara on the Lake can be quite dear. Rooms were clean and spacious. Nice balcony view in ours. The only negative was that the woman who checked us in was quite unwelcoming and disrespectful to us.

I was not happy that the hotel charged an additional $25 Covid cleaning fee. I do not believe the customer should burden this cost. We have all suffered costs associated with this panademic. How much more intense is the clean, wiping down all surfaces with sanitizer? I dislike cash grabs with Covid as the excuse..
