Candlewood Suites Goodlettsville - Nashville

They are very concerned with cleaning with COVID and it was refreshing to see a place so clean and conscious. They also offer a pantry with snacks that can be charged to your room. The beds are brand new and I slept so so so good!! The bathroom is a great size. My only complaint is there wasn’t a blow dryer. I figured an extended stay type hotel would have one but no :/ also if you stay on the back end of the hotel, you get a lot of traffic noise. Otherwise, I will be back! Felt like home :)

It was pleasant stay comfortable

This is a great hotel suite! The pricing was more than reasonable but the room itself and accommodations were beyond what we expected for the price. First of all, the hotel is pet friendly, which is a must for us, and they were very cheerful about our dog: the clerk even came out to greet her! (Properly socially distanced, of course) Then, our room was very well appointed and clean! The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was perfectly cleaned and arranged. Also, with respect to the Kitchenette, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of kitchenware they used. All storage containers, measuring cups, etc were brand names and glass! There is even a toaster and a full-sized refrigerator. The bathroom was spacious and clean with both a long vanity mirror and full length mirror just outside the bathroom door. We had plenty of room for my wife to work on her laptop while I entertained our dog and read. I will look for IHG Suite hotels from now on, particularly Candlewood Suites!

Hotel is in a convenient location and like other reviewers have said it is very clean and comfortable with nice amenities. However during our stay there was never anyone at the front desk. I waited about 5-8 minutes before I had to go looking for someone to check in, and all the times I left or came back through the lobby I never saw anyone there. This was during daylight hours. Other than that, it was a great place and I recommend it.

Clean, fast efficient check in. Desk agent gave us a good recommendation for a meal that night.

We love this hotel! It is so nice and clean! This was our third stay.

After 12 hours on the road we were not happy when we were told our pre-paid king reservation couldn't be honored because they were out of king rooms. We settled for a queen room & were told the difference in price was our problem because we used hotels.com. The room had little or no insulation so interstate traffic noise was an issue. So was the refrigerator "humming". Finally at 4:30am we decided to just leave, not bothering to shower since the bathroom, especially the floor wasn't very clean. We're exhausted but luckily only have 6 hours on the road today. We've stayed at Candlewood's before but after this experience we'll NEVER stay again. The positive in this experience? Hotels.com gave us a voucher to put towards a future room, which more than covered the difference in price
