Misleading pics but ok for budget

I stayed for two nights for work, thought £54 for 2 nights wasn't bad for the location. Pics on the website are misleading though - the walls were grimy and the pleather headboard was sticky.. Shower was great, lovely and hot with good pressure, clean and towels were good. I can live with sticky walls but the fact that they're paper thin is a killer. If you're an even slightly light sleeper, this hotel is not for you. My upstairs neighbours might as well been linedancing all night it was that loud and creaky. Every deliveroo scooter that drove past seemed to be in the room with you the windows are so thin.. Slept for about 5 hours over the 2 nights in total.

Smelly room

When I got to my room in the 4th floor I had to go down again to the reception to complain about the fact that there was no toilet paper at all in the toilet. Them to go up the 4 floors again. There is no way to communicate with the reception through the room and there is no elevator. My room was smelly. I suppose due to old pipes in the toilet. Interesting, the staff are aware of that as there were air deodorizer spray in the room. However, it didn't help. Not sure how they can give a smelly roon to a customer. I complained also about that but they said the hotel was fully booked which I don't believe is true as I did not see many people around. The room was also too hot. It was around 15 degrees outside and the heating was off. Fortunately I stayed only one night, otherwise I would feel suffocated there. The bed is comfortable and the lady at the reception was nice. I will never come back.

Staff is nice, price is good. Rooms are very small but what more do you really need.

Central London stay

My stay was okay. Didn't like the fact that I was on the last floor though without a lift (but I guess since I arrived a couple of days before my booking I had no choice). The receptionist was very helpful

Beautiful building (potentially lots of stairs if you’re on one of the higher floors like we were), clean and comfortable room. The only negative aspect of our stay was that the walls seemed very thin, the people in the next room were making so much noise that we had to ask them to keep it down so we could sleep. Other than that, a lovely hotel and we would stay here again.

Ok

Basic hotel close to the tube, shops, restaurants, etc. Room was tight and noisy, I could hear snoring through the wall. Wifi was excellent. Overall it was good for the money

We found this hotel clean and the staff friendly. It is located in a great area with lots of Restaurants and Pubs close by. We enjoyed it!

Just loved my overnight stay. Lovely quirky room, clean, own bathroom, tv and internet, everything I needed. Very near tube station, which for a female single traveler just what I wanted. They kept my bag until checkin which was great. Would certainly recommend and would use again.
