Radisson RED Glasgow

When we thought we were booking the skybar. However on arrival at the bar we were rushed through to a "private room" where other people were sitting. It felt more like a classroom, no music and no tv, not permitted to walk around or stand up without a good reason. We were stuck with a rowdy group who were very loud and started shouting/swearing at each other and their alcohol consumption was stopped due to their behaviour, this is not the skybar we were expecting. We would have preferred to have stayed in our room, so unfair and not acceptable. My initial thought prior to booking our stay was to stay at the Hilton instead, I wish I had. Re parking we were charged twenty pounds on leaving, again if we new that we would never have booked this hotel. I would not wish to stay at this hotel again, we feel cheated.

Check in bad arrived took ages for girl to sort out room other people were coming and going threw it here check out quicker then asked for money which was paid then asked for receipt and to email her it then lift carryon then couldn’t get in room had to back to get card fixed nightmare came to relax and felt stressed won’t be back

We had a brilliant stay, fab views, bright rooms with floor to ceiling windows. The bar was lovely and had some small plates which were amazing. The rooms are a really good size with a table to sit at if you want to eat in your room and plenty of choices around for take out or a couple of minutes über into the city centre. The australian barman was brilliant and couldnt do enough for us.

Just need more staff. Checkin slow. Nobody seems t answer the phone when wanting to make a dinner reservation. I ended up going out of the hotel in the end. This was even more frustrating when I came to leave and saw two reception staff talking. I asked them why no one was answering the phone. They said they had been busy. I must have called reception over 10 times. Very, very disappointing.

I was staying in a junior suite and it is fair to say that the room was great -one point about the room is that I found a pubic hair on one of the towels in the bathroom and one of the chairs had a stain on it. Not the main issue. When i went for dinner I was sat at a bar side table and was served promptly. When the food came it looked great but upon eating it the Mozzarella Sticks were very bland and the New Yorker burger was worse, the bun was stale and quite hard the burger was obviously over cooked

Quirky but welcoming rooms are spacious and highly cleaned, would definitely come back again.
