CityHub Rotterdam

Very nice environment, clean and friendly staff. Room is small but confortable. Good location. I booked the room for my daughter and she really enjoyed her stay at CityHub. We recommend it and wonder if there are similar Hostals in other cities.

very cool experience!

This hostel was nicely located, very comfortable and check-in was easy. They had colourful LED lights in each of the pods that you could control with your phone as well as Bluetooth speakers so you can pump your tunes when drifting off to sleep. The pod itself felt very private; less like a hostel and more like a mini hotel room. They provided towels which is always a nice bonus when hosteling and the bathrooms were well kept. This place is honestly perfect for solo travelers, couples, someone on business, etc. I would definitely choose to stay here again in the future.

Great staff

Extremely friendly staff. Very helpful. Have an app where you can send them questions from wherever you are about the hotel, city, recommendations etc and they answer immediately. Great price for rotterdam. Similar to a pod/capsule hotel but you can stand in the room and the bed is quite big. Only issue was the men's toilet. One of the urinals was overflowing with urinal and was finally put out of service. And only 2 showers available for the whole floor. The other showers were locked for the 3 days i was there for some reason.

You know what you will get when you book this hotel and it is what you get: a place to sleep in centrum Rotterdam with shared bathrooms... Everything is nice and clean , and the service is very sympathetic...

Quick and easy, but bathrooms could definitely do with more upkeep and lack of kitchen on each floor is somewhat frustrating for getting water in the night etc. It’s definitely not worth the full price for how little you get - it is ostensively a hostel. Fine for quick stays if it’s reduced!

CityHub is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The overall experience was excellent. The whole hotel is very clean, including the common areas and shared toilets. They provide free fruits-infused water (so rare in Europe!!) and also have a self-service bar where you can purchase drinks. Checking in was a breeze and it was so fun as well. You get to choose your hub type (top or bottom) and even select the ambience of your room. I was SOOO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED when I could see the ambience lights changing in my room. You could also change the ambience lights whenever you like. I selected disco and IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!! ONE BIGGGGGGESTTTT surprise is that you could also connect to the bluetooth speakers in the hub which means you could play your own music. LO AND BEHOLD. THE AMBIENCE LIGHTS CHANGE ACCORDING TO YOUR MUSIC!!!!!!!! THIS IS REALLY THE MOST ENTERTAINING FACTOR especiallllly if you're travelling during the period where shops close early (p.s. christmas). That's how you can entertain yourself when the city shuts down. REALLY FUN!!!!!!!!! HEHE. The hub is also quite big for a "bunk hostel". For everyone who is saying it's too small, etc. etc., you gotta manage your expectations because this is clearly not a typical business or family hotel... JUST COME FOR THE DISCO LIGHTS.
