How difficult to list the things we liked! We loved everything,but especially the hosts, Michael and Gilles! They couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. I left my phone on the breakfast table when we left to meet up for our tour of Normandy and Gilles raced after us and found us over a block away. Every question we had Michael or Gilles answered or found the solution. Breakfasts were wonderful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful. It was conveniently located near downtown. We would gladly stay there again!

What can I say? This place was amazing! It is in the heart of Bayeux, close to restaurants and it had free parking behind the property. The hosts were very helpful and made a beautiful breakfast! Bayaux is the best place to stay if you want to explore the beaches and do a day trip to Mont St. Michel. The rooms were large with nice bathrooms and showers. They property has 2 beautiful gardens. In the front it was smaller. The back garden was huge. One of the best places I ever stayed.

Beautiful and restful

Beautiful and charming historic home. I felt like I was staying with royalty! Close to the town center. When back in this area I would definitely stay here again.

A lovely place to stay

We only had a one night stay but it was lovely, all the same. From the welcome to leaving it was very special. The attention to detail in the house was greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This is a wonderful place to stay: it's very old (300 yrs) but beautifully restored and decorated. They have kept the charm of an old chateau but added modern baths, comfortable beds, furniture, etc. Great breakfast in the am, great service by the two owners, Gilles and Michael. Highly recommend it. Also, it is in a great location to walk to everything in Bayeau, which is a great old city.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Giles & Michael. A beautiful home, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast every morning was fabulous. And the location is in the heart of Bayeux but located on a residential street so it is very quiet. Highly recommended.

Beautiful house fantastic hosts

What an amazing place, beautiful rooms, fabulous hosts! Delicious breakfast with home made treats. Wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Attention to detail, lots of nice touches, a very unique house.

Beautiful Mansion

Gilles and Michael are superb hosts who attend to every detail. They made us feel at home in their spacious mansion, which was appointed with so many antiques and collectibles. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of pastries, bread, fruit, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at their place. Charles Franck
