Residence Inn by Marriott Provo South University

Beautiful property, rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Kitchenette was so nice to have for meal prep-dishes, pans, utensils all provided. Nice space for 4 of us to stay for a week-we didn't feel on top of each other at all. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn. The hotel is pretty new so everything was in great condition. The room was very nice and it had all of the amenities we needed. The only thing I would change is the shampoo! They use a peppermint shampoo and it felt like it was burning my scalp. It smelled great, but I think it is a little too strong for most scalps.

Fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night while we were there. An employee burnt popcorn in the microwave.

Very clean and new property in South Provo. Very close to the I-15 freeway on and off ramps. Less crowded area vs. locations right by BYU. Only issue is you need to pay close attention to the entrance off of University. It doesn't connect to other streets.

Very simple. Too noisy! Marriott spend all this money to built a beautiful facility. They forgot the most important hotel necessity.QUIET! For some reason they didn’t soundproof this location adequately. Anything upstairs sounds like a wrecking ball. Same with adjoining rooms and hallways.

Cleanliness, great room setup, and comfortable bed!

Marriott knows how to do it right. His is a newer property and very nice. Convenient for a short stay but well appointed for a longer one.

Good location to get around the city easy, depending on the hour.

One of the nicest, thoughtfully designed hotels I've stayed in. The entire property was spotlessly clean. Even in a viral pandemic, I did not feel that I needed to "reclean" the room (which I did at a different hotel the night before). The couch was a cleanable surface (vinyl? leather?). There was a designated charging station just inside the door with a plug/USB socket. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed to cook and serve 4 people: full-sized refrigerator, 2 unit cook stop, microwave, mini dishwasher, pots, pans, cups, glasses, storage bowls, and serve ware. The hotel even provided a mini bottle of dish soap, a dishwasher tab, a scrubby sponge (new and in the original packaging), a hand towel/dish cloth, and even paper towels. It was so refreshing to bring my groceries in and just prepare dinner. The coffee pot and coffee maker were perfectly spotless which is usually the one thing in any hotel that is really disgusting, but not here. The shower had a step up that is a life saver for women trying to shave their legs in the shower. The TV was in the middle of the room with full swivel to watch in the living are or in the bed without being next to a wall and disturbing the neighboring room. The night table had another designated charging station with USB and 4 basic charging cords provided. Amenities included mini packet of sanitizing wipes, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in pump dispensers in the shower. Body lotion on the counter.
