Dos Playas by Faranda All Inclusive

I Iike the people and the area very beautiful and smells good. The one i didn't like the room to small and the bathroom.

The property is really close to the ferry port so that’s definitely a plus the hotel overall was very modest but was extremely clean

The place was in a central location overall it was good But The place is outdated

We stayed here for 3 nights and have some mixed feelings about the resort. We did the all inclusive package. The room is about as basic as you can get. The bed is only good if you like sleeping on very firm mattresses. We don’t and found it extremely uncomfortable. When we arrived, the bed sheets had a wet spot. They were prompt to fix that and housekeeping was not an issue after. They have a few different places to eat. The food was edible but far from good. It would have been far cheaper and tasted better to eat out and stay at a regular hotel. There was a snack bar that made burgers and pizzas for 7 hours during the day. The burgers were not good. The pizzas were great. The resort itself was nice. They had a beautiful beach. No waves from the sea. They had plenty of chairs to lay on. It was beautiful and we were overall happy that we stayed there. If you can afford an extra 50 bucks a night you would be far happier at some of the places down the road a mile or two. My last complaint is the absolute insanely priced taxis. Paid 30 US dollars to go 2.1 kilometers to our next hotel. The other 3 places we stayed during our vacation arranged taxis for a fraction of the cost. Which is the story of Dos Playas. Beautiful beach waaaaay over priced for what you get.

This has to be the worse all inclusive hotel (among dozens) I have been to. The food is mediocre. The hotel is very poorly insulated and noisy. The small beaches are sub par. They re-use the thin plastic glasses at the bars ... And NEVER wash them. The glasses are rinced in a bucket of water !!!! No wonder we were sick ! This is NOT a nice hotel even at a discount. If you want a cheap run down noisy hotel full of Russian and Colombian douche bags, this is your spot!

The property is OK for the price ! you receive what you pay. Overall, I recommend this hotel for nice vacation.

This is an older property but well maintained. The staff goes out of their way to take care of you. Excellent service.

I liked the surroundings of the property,food was not great, smell of dump in some of the rooms. Staff very nice and friendly.

The location is great. Our room was about 100 steps to the beautiful white sand beach. The staff is incredibly eager to accommodate you.
