Mt. Rose Hotel

Room was great. Very clean and spacious.

Smooth check in and the rest of our 1 night stay was great. Don't let the economical fool you...this is a good clean place to stay. It could easily be a 3 star hotel...but because it doesn't have a pool, gym and other amenities. The star rating is what it is.

We stayed for one night (Friday of Valentine’s Day weekend) traveling from NE to Florida. Service was great, place was very clean, only slight markdown was the people above were SO loud (surprising despite the very high ceilings) and we could hear everything. so we didn’t sleep much, Silver lining was we got an earlier start to our day than expected.

The room was very clean, very comfortable, if you like a firmer pillow (like I do) make sure to bring one with you, the pillows are nice and fluffy I'm just weird about my pillows. Shower was nice, TV worked well, they had a fridge in the room. The walls are a little thin so I did hear my neighbors a bit during the night but I sleep with the TV on low and if I had it on I didn't hear anything. Wifi was fast I had no issues streaming netflix or hulu on my phone. Check in was quick, I had to leave super early in the morning and there is a drop box for your key to check out.

We stayed at this hotel on our way to Florida and it was great no so coming back when we stayed. We had a difficult time checking in. We were very tired and just wanted to get some sleep. There were problems with checking in and it took about an hour to resolve. The room had a very powerful smell. It smelled like cologne. The bed was not very comfortable. It was a completely different experience from the previous week.

The hotel is cute. We only stayed 1 night while driving through the state. Our stay was comfortable. Parking is on site and free WiFi are their greatest amenities. There is no coffee maker in the room. The microwave is down the hall. I wouldn’t stay here if I was staying in the area longer than 1 night.

Very CLEAN and quaint hotel. Will definitely be returning!

Great stay, super clean.

I don't understand how this is considered "superb". The bed is ridiculously bouncy and I had to catch myself when I was sitting on the side and my husband sat down on the other side because of catapulted me. Then the refrigerator is more like a freezer because of froze or bottles of water. Then we were sitting in our car that was right in front of the front door. We watched the front desk guy, no mask, huddle up with 2 guests, also with no masks, opening up the vending machine. During a pandemic. They make a big show on hotels.com about Covid precautions but it's all a lie. I'll be finding a new hotel for our trip back north.
