Holiday Inn Express Lexington East - Winchester

Upon arrival no one was at the front desk. We waited 10 minutes and then called the property. An employee arrived and no greeting was received, just an unpleasant look. Very disappointed by this occurrence.

In town for a funeral but hotel was great.

Our stay was excellent. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Dustin was very kind and courteous. Thank you!

Yameka was AMAZING!! Super friendly and really took car of my requests. I was a bit disgusted when I was getting settled in my room and the main garbage was never removed. There was an open container of food with whatever someone who was in here the night before left and houskeeping never removed the main garbage from the room. This made sense when I detected an odor when I walked in. As I said, Tameka who greeted me when I arrived was very pleasant, and felt very apologetic for the garbage being left in my room.

The only thing that really bothers me is you have limited control of your rooms climate control, thermostat will not let you go below 65 and there isn’t a constant fan option which I’ve noticed a lot of hotels are doing this,,, Well it sucks first of all i don’t sleep well if my room isn’t cold secondly having the fan constantly running helps drown out noise from rooms with other quests!!

Friendly check in, clean room and halls. Adorable breakfast lady. Very good impression and experience.

A.J. at the front desk was a complete joy. Very professional and friendly. We arrived earlier than check in by a couple hours and he quickly got a room ready for us to check in early with no charge. The room was very clean and the young lady who cleaned it ( Jennifer ) was friendly and ever so helpful. The breakfast was served by an employee who wore a mask as everyone who worked there. The best safety practices I encountered in Kentucky. Wish all the public places we ever have to enter could be as safe of an experience as I had with this Hotel. I felt very safe there. The management here is the BEST.

Outstanding experience. Have rarely stayed in such a nice clean hotel. Is it brand new?
