The White Rose Hotel

Carpets from the front door and going upstairs were dirty, this may be due to guests wet/muddy footwear and difficult to manage. It’s not a good first impression. The bedroom was dated but overall clean and tidy. The mattress was well passed its sell by date and I could feel every spring, I did speak to the owner about this when we checked out and she said she’d get it sorted. The carpet also made a strange noise when walking on it, like it had plastic underneath it.

Loved this quirky old pub...staff were amazing and friendly....great local beer...fantastic to have a good old sheet n blanket rather than a hot duvet. Good off street parking....just a shame the weather was terrible.

In need of some updating. Bedding and towels etc not up to standard ... wet towels not changed. Service in restaurant very slow. Staff were pleasant enough, but overall the hotel was a bit tired, and musty.

Lovely setting in a quiet village. Very good food. We had a large, comfortable room with great views.

Excellent position and very friendly. Only one lady serving breakfast and she was run off her feet so breakfast was slow as she was also having to break off serving to see to guests checking out. This lady was a treasure.

Typisch ouder hotel met pub en restaurant. Eten was goed, kamer viel mee, breder bed zou fijn zijn.
