We loved the property but thought the fees were excessive at nearly the same amount as the 2 overnights. We also noticed that the fees changed to a higher amount from the first time we saw the listing and the second time when we booked the stay.

Serene, beautiful scenic views

Hw k in was easy, properly manager responded right away to questions. Very polite. The cabin was very clean, perfect for couples wanting peace and quiet.

Peaceful, relaxing and just what we were hoping for. Truly "right on the water". Had the weather been more agreeable, we would have enjoyed the firepit! Was well stocked with towels, dishes and utensils, cookware. Convenient to local restaurants for pickup, grocery store, shopping and area attractions. Unexpected nosy neighbor with camera and his wife with loud phone calls on their back porch. Keep rice in salt shaker for humidity and maybe seat covers/cushions for dining chairs? Also, maybe install screen doors on new addition to enjoy natural breeze? Overall, fantastic experience, replacing second getaway to Belton with return to this retreat!

Lake access was great. Cabin is older but we we we’re there for the outdoors so it didn’t matter. Privacy was great too.

Perfect, Historic, Quiet - Just as listed

My husband and I want to come back at least once a year (perhaps twice - summer and fall) to this site. Could not have been more happy with our stay. Clean, convenient, quiet, Lake Buchanan in the window view, easy small boat dock, amazing tree swing, great value. Just perfect!!!!!

cute and cozy

Enjoyed my short stay! The access to the water is great, the house itself is cozy, overall really happy with the experience. Note that the water in the house is well water, so it won’t smell like the treated stuff from home, in case you’re sensitive to that kind of thing. I wish the check-in/check-out times were shifted a bit to be able to enjoy the space for a couple more hours in order for short stays to not feel quite as rushed, maybe someday. :)

great location, facility not so good

A wonderful location right on the lake. Secluded. Beautiful. It is perfect spot for a fishing trip. But if you want comfortable housing you are out of luck. The yard is awesome, but needs to be mowed so the stickers won't prevent you from enjoying it.
