Canmore Inn & Suites

We are quite disappointed with our stay especially because the rooms were not thoroughly clean given the pandemic and all. I say rooms with an S because we asked for a second one, but the second room was the same. The bed mattresses were old and saggy. One of the bedsheets had an old bloodstain. This hotel definitely was much better when it was the Ramada.

Overall the Canmore Inn & Suites was a great 2 night stay for a getaway and great for working away from usual enviornment. Many of the onsite amenities were not open due to Covid, no suprise. The price was excellent for this 2 night away from home environment.

We had small problems throughout. 1.minus 28 and doors would not open to our lobby. 2. Room missing tv remote. 3. Mirror covered in fingerprints. When we told front desk attendant was snotty about it.4. Elevator problems, wouldn't stop at our floor. 5. Shower door super difficult to open, thought I was going to break it. 6. Put soap on shower shelf. Shelf fell off. 7. Door handle to shower fell off. In the end I was told my room rate was really low $65 a night so in the beginning there was to be no reduced rate. Once I began to explain all of the problems I received $13 off. Some staff were great! Most looked like they hated their job.

Front desk night staff was friendly and helpful.

Overall very clean and comfortable. Parking can be tough to find, and the train can be very noisy, just in case you’re a super light sleeper, but it didn’t bother us.

Very enjoyable stay. The button to open the microwave was finicky but not the end of the world. Not much you can do about the train that goes but multiple times a day, but really wasn't the end of the world. I would stay here again.

Check-in & check-out staff was great. Damaged dresser in room, reported & staff already new about it. Desk was sticky w/ drink rings & garbage under vanity in bathroom. Not the most comfortable bed but good enough for rate paid. 2 nights for <$150.00

Room is not very clean .Tables are not wipe down properly. TV remote does not work as i have to do manually change channels and volume..Kids were running around above on 3 floor making a lot of noise late at night.The guy in reception is very nice.

A good deal for the $60/night. We had to ask for a new duvet because ours was covered in hairs and was clearly dirty, but they replaced it right away. The cleanliness wasn't the greatest in general, but it was OK for the price.
