Coral Level at Iberostar Selection Cancun Adults Only - All Inclusive

Food was the biggest issue. Not quality food. Limited amount of restaurants with very few items on menu. Hotel is also very run down. Need a major renovation.

Very clean hotel! Helpful staff and great amenities

Good: -Beautiful lobby, grounds, room, pool. Smelled amazing. -Comfy bed, cozy sheets, plenty of hot water, great shower. -Loved loungers in pool. Aqua fit, cycle & yoga were fun. I liked that the people leading the activities would come around & tell you about them but weren't pushy. -The 'scene' felt more laid back rather than a crazy loud party which is exactly what I was looking for. -Best chai latte I have ever had at lobby bar & amazing mudslides. -Fun to take a bath in outdoor tub on balcony. -Very friendly staff & hotel followed Covid guidelines - felt clean & safe. -Buffets were good & plenty to choose from. -Entertainment (break-dancers, beatboxers, etc. the night we were there) on the family side was enjoyable. -Got 30 min massage at spa - good, but not amazing. Therapist very nice, facilities average. Not So Good: -Be VERY careful if you have allergies. My friend has a severe nut allergy, told hostess & waiter who confirmed they understood, but she ended up having a reaction. She got a note from the manager the next morning to take to meals to explain in detail in Spanish, but the hostess/waitstaff/chef still often couldn't tell her which foods she could/couldn't eat. Would be helpful if they had more knowlege of what goes into their food for those with allergies. -La Horma was average, enjoyed buffets more. -Service at the pool and beach was bad. Overall, I would recommend and really enjoyed my time there.

This is a nice hotel! We loved the amenities in our room including the spa tub on the balcony that we used daily. A few not so great things... there is some type of entertainment that happens every night until 11pm. It’s crazy loud and some is obnoxious. There was one evening with a violinist... he was spectacular. Then there is covid. The rules at the buffets are not posted so there’s confusion as to what you can acquire yourself and what must be served to you. The biggest problem is there is no one there to serve you but miraculously always someone to reprimand. It was annoying. The hotel was quiet and everyone was nice. We will hopefully return but not until covid is done.

Muy buenas instalaciones, buen servicio del personal. Me gustó que el área de adultos en realidad es muy bien conservada y es muy tranquila, pero además tener acceso al área de eventos del conjunto completo lo hace muy agradable.

The property was pretty new but they it was already going down hill. The toilet was leaking and when they cleaned everyday they mopped the urine stench all through the room. It smelled nasty and we had to air out the room every day.

I Don’t like the food menú and the restaurants, the food wasn’t good enough and most of the restaurant needed reservations. What I like is the cleanliness all around the buildings especially the rooms except for the pools they weren’t very clean

Coral Level at Iberostar // Outstanding view and great property with ocean facing. Only complain about this property is "Hotel Concierge Stuffs". I wanted to try the signature restaurants (specifically Hibachi Japanese Seafood, Stake House, Italian) but Concierge told me all are booked and only choice I have is Dinner Buffet which was not my prime interest. I did not agree with the Concierge Stuffs and later Manager helped me to book the restaurants. Otherwise its an amazing hotel with great view and amenities. We loved it. The hotel was very clean. Our room was large and we loved the ocean view with the tub on the balcony. We got there early, but was access to the breakfast buffet and got into our room early which was really nice of the hotel staff! The buffet for breakfast and lunch was awesome. We didn't love the food in any of the restaurants, but it was all ok tasting. We tried out the buffet on the non adults side and it wasn't that great either so stick to the buffet on the Coral Level side. The customer service was 90% good - we encountered a couple of people that were a little not super friendly, but I would be grumpy carrying drinks back and forth all day in this hot sun too. Halfway though our trip the spa sent an email offering $90 massages. Mine was great, but the hubby's masseuse was not to his liking so it seems that the spa is hit or miss. You are within a 10 minute walk from the Cancun sign - try to go at sunrise. If you come in the summer you can release turtles! We would recommend this to our friends. Everyone wore masks except if you were at the beach or pool, but the chairs were nicely spaced out.

The attentiveness of the staff was amazing! The nightly performances were great.
